ASSISTING PARTICIPANTS IN FINDING AND RETAINING EMPLOYMENT IN THE COMMUNITY IS ONE OF THE MAJOR GOALS IN THIS PROGRAM. PHASE OPERATES SEVERAL MICRO INDUSTRIES, SUCH AS RETAIL OUTLETS (HERITAGE BARNWOOD, HERITAGE THRIFT STORE, HERITAGE HOME CREATIONS), PHASE-RECYCLING, AND PHASE LAWN SERVICES. THESE WERE DEVELOPED FOR THE EXPRESS PURPOSE OF PROVIDING EMPLOYMENT TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE FOR PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS. THESE PROGRAMS NOT ONLY DIRECTLY SUPPORT PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS IN DEVELOPING AND EXPANDING NEEDED SKILLS TO ATTAIN EMPLOYMENT, BUT SERVE AS AN OVERALL RESOURCE TO THE BROADER COMMUNITY (E.G. PHASE RECYCLING PROCESSED APX. 1500 TONS OF RECYCLABLE MATERIALS DURING THE YEAR).
