Utilize verbal de-escalation techniques to defuse tense or disruptive situations in a calm and professional manner; Assist in the physical restraint of patients when requested by clinical staff. * While patrolling in parking lots, ensure that vehicles are not improperly parked or parked in areas that would pose a hazard to the facility, like fire lanes. * Maintain detailed and accurate incident reports and documentation in accordance with organizational standards. Escort employees to and from their vehicles upon request. * Provide exceptional customer service while enforcing facility rules and regulations respectfully. In addition to the functions above, the individual must be able to undergo various security and hospital related training on an annual basis and must comply with the continuing education requirements of the facility. The individual may be asked to stand or walk for up to 12 hours a day. The individual may be asked to lift objects over 50 pounds from time to time to assist facility staff.
