Caregiver - Assisted Living Facility ARC Group is seeking a Caregiver for shift work in a client's Assisted Living Facility in Port Townsend, WA. You will provide direct care and support to residents in an assisted living environment. As the Caregiver, you will assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), support mobility, provide companionship, and help maintain a clean, comfortable living environment. Under the direction of supervisory staff and in line with each resident's care plan, you will help promote dignity, safety, and well-being.

Employment Type: Shifts (2 PM - 10 PM and 10PM - 6 AM options)
Caregiver Key Responsibilities
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care
Support mobility, transfers, ambulation, and safe use of assistive devices
Provide meal assistance, feeding, and hydration support, including light meal prep
Assist with medication reminders (under supervision, as permitted)
Document care delivered and changes in condition, and communicate with supervisory/nursing staff
Engage residents in social, emotional, and recreational activities
Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms, common areas, and follow infection-control practices
Follow resident care plans, safety protocols, and facility policies
Attend and participate in ongoing training and certification as required
Caregiver Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum 18 years of age
Authorized to work in the U.S., and able to provide necessary identification
Pass Washington State and FBI fingerprint background checks (or as required)
No disqualifying criminal convictions or pending charges per state law
Basic communication skills sufficient to read, understand, follow care plans, and respond in emergencies
Willingness to complete required state training (e.g. 75 hours initial training, then annual continuing education) and certification as needed
Ability to lift, bend, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks
Compassion, patience, reliability, respect for elderly people and persons with disabilities
Preferred (but not mandatory):
Experience in assisted living, long-term care, home care, or similar settings
First aid / CPR certification
Working Conditions & Schedule
May work in indoor settings with occasional exposure to bodily fluids, cleaning chemicals, and PPE

It is the policy of Jefferson Healthcare ("JH") to allow eligible college students who are interested in pursuing careers in the medical field the opportunity to shadow JH employees, including providers. Job shadowing is provided as a public service in the interest of community education, subject to available resources, staff and determination of a student's eligibility and suitability for participation, as determined at JH's sole discretion.
Job shadows shall not be permitted in the following JH departments/areas:
Family Birth Center (FBC)
Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Emergency Department (ED)
Any department where express, direct patient consent prior to shadowing cannot be received
Any student interested in job shadowing (and not coming from a school with whom JH has an already established affiliation agreement) should submit their application via this opening. Applications will be submitted to appropriate department leaders for review and approval. Department leaders and JH sponsors coordinate job shadow experiences with the interested job shadow and the interested job shadow will be followed up with by the department leader or JH sponsor, including for further information and/or approval.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Job Duties:
o Experience and training in diagnosis and therapeutic intervention of articulation, expressive and receptive language, fluency, and voice.
o Working knowledge of strategies and accommodations to support students in inclusion settings.
o Ability to collaborate positively with general education and special education staff, parents and administrators.
o Experience with a variety of diagnostic instruments appropriate for students.
o Skill and experience working with students who use augmentative and adaptive communication strategies and devices.
o Experience in writing Individual Education Programs (IEP), including working knowledge of social and behavioral language goals, specific task analysis skills, and ability to write measurable annual goals and objectives.
o Participate as an effective member of the IEP team.
o Completion and maintenance of CCCs in SLP is preferred.
o Working knowledge of state and federal regulations for disabled students
License - Education - Certification Requirements:
o Minimum of a master's degree in a field related to Speech-Language Pathology
o State License as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Contract Description
Camp SunSparrow Counselors are responsible for providing leadership support to Camp SunSparrow leadership as it pertains to SunSparrow volunteers and campers. This position requires servant-leadership in the areas of spiritual, emotional, relational, and physical needs of counselors, campers, and volunteers (high school-adult). In this position, Counselors are expected to maintain an environment of professionalism, safety, and fun. Overnight stay in camp lodging is essential for this position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Includes the following:
1. Have ability and desire to disciple and supervise Camp SunSparrow volunteers in performing their ministry duties through teaching, training, coaching and encouragement.
2. Possess ability to communicate with and lead high school, college age and adult staff and volunteers in their various camp activities and responsibilities; provide necessary instruction to volunteers and campers.
3. Assist with mealtimes by serving meals and overseeing camper and volunteer eating habits.
4. Have ability and desire to lead and support campers with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (ages 15+) in all camp related activities and functions.
5. Have the ability and desire to learn and develop in Camp SunSparrow specific leadership and related skills.
6. Camper care and support (ie. Toileting, dressing, feeding and the like) *Some duties only to be performed by staff members ages 18+.
7. Assist Camp SunSparrow Team Leaders in camp activities and functions such as crafts, morning recreation, pool, and mini golf, train rides, campfires and circle-ups, music, chapel, skits, etc.
8. Assist Team Leaders in the supervision, organization, and implementation of evening volunteer programming.
9. Work cooperatively with fellow Camp SunSparrow staff and leadership. Be willing and able to replace or supplement staff and volunteer team members in an emergency.
10. Participate in and provide leadership support to staff and volunteers during orientation meetings, and other camp functions.
11. Obey and uphold all camp safety rules and regulations. Report information regarding unusual behaviors, rule infractions, medical issues, etc. to a Camp SunSparrow Team Leader and to the Developmental Disabilities Ministries Coordinator daily (immediately if emergency).
12. Organize, delegate, and be responsible for cleanliness and maintenance of camp facility before, during and upon each day end of camp (this includes but is not limited to restrooms, dining areas, activity stations, and surrounding areas utilized by Camp SunSparrow participants.)
13. Maintain an atmosphere of love, openness, and care among staff, volunteers, and campers.
14. Maintain healthy staff and volunteer relations through exercising principles of love, forgiveness, reproof, and honest communication.
