Desired Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience in standards development and process standardization. Knowledge of predictive analytics and preventative maintenance strategies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Lean Six Sigma certification or experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Experience with weapon system program management at the operational and strategic level. Experience with sourcing, contracting, and logistical acquisitions, as well as supportability challenges. Familiarity with DoD 5000 standards and Life Cycle Management principles. Understanding of ROI optimization and cost management strategies. The SOF/SF-SME will be trained as a JNAT & JST Instructor in order to integrate those TTPs into Exercise and Operational design and support JNAT & JST course execution as required. The SOF/SF-SME works with the Quality Assurance designs to ensure that improved methods and processes follow published regulations. Specific Responsibilities Work closely with the JNAT-PL, and Ft. Bragg Joint Program Coordinator unit Operations and Training Chiefs, course managers, and internal analysts to build and improve the unit training management program and curricular activities. Supports the planning and design of the emerging exercises, education and training events, coordination of instructor and student materials, evaluations, and alternate learning methods. Support, coordinate and help execute, and assess individual student, staff and collective unit training across the JNAT & JST program as a SOF/SF-SME and JNAT & JST Instructor. Works with students, staff and subject matter experts to identify target audience and specific training needs by MOS and pre-deployment requirements. Executes Exercise and classroom in garrison and field environments. Train as JNAT Instructor (JNAT-I) and support JNAT-Courses after completion of training. Trian as JST Instructor (JST-I) and support JST-Courses during and after completion of training. Coordinate instructional research and analysis on learners and facilitators. Attend meetings and participate in customer briefs aboard Ft. Bragg, and Camp Lejeune, North Carolina Requirements Qualifications Must have knowledge and skills in instructional design theories. Must have knowledge of analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to conduct studies and analyze findings. Past performance in directly participating with and supporting SOF Special Forces units and formal schools. Must have excellent written and oral communications skills. Must possess self-motivation and a high level of discretion to work effectively with others. Must be able to multi-task efficiently, work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects and have a strong attention for detail. Past performance as a SOF SF Operations and Training Chief, instructor, teaching, or related field and 5 years of related work experience. Past performance conducting assessment, and performance evaluations. Strategic SOF planning, organizing, and analyzing instructional development activities desired. Experience supporting multinational and Joint Operations is required, Joint Special Operations is desired.
