Mark Novakovich has extensive experience in building and leading global finance and accounting organizations in order to help companies achieve financial and strategic objectives. He has a record of leading teams to meet and exceed growth and earnings objectives and has led many accretive, successfully integrated strategic acquisitions. Mark’s career experience has been focused on technology companies spanning the life cycle from start-up to growing public entity. Most recently, Mark was part of the leadership team that guided Control4 into becoming the market leader in professionally installed smart home systems, took Control4 public in 2013 and then ultimately sold the business to a private-equity firm in a $680 million all cash take-private transaction. Mark is a graduate of Brigham Young University’s accounting program.

Paul Mountford joined Protegrity in 2021 as Chief Executive Officer and brings more than 30 years of experience in global software and technology innovation to the data security sector. Paul recently served as the COO at Pure Storage, one of the fastest-growing cloud data storage enterprises today, and has held several senior executive positions at Cisco Systems including heading their Worldwide Channels, Emerging markets and Global Enterprise business. Following that he was CEO of Riverbed Technology and Sentillian Inc. He has also served in advisory and non exec directorships with public and privately held companies When not leading global data security efforts, Paul can be found playing golf or guitar or watching Premiership soccer. Continuously learning, reading extensively and keeping up with his busy family.
