Job Description: About the Role: Our Green Bay, WI, facility, a manufacturer of quality pickles, is seeking a Senior Quality Specialist. The Senior Quality Specialist is responsible for supporting and managing the implementation of quality systems and compliance programs that uphold food safety, product quality, GFSI, customer and regulatory standards across the enterprise. This role ensures adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices. This role will collaborate with internal technical and non-technical teams, as well as external partners, to manage documentation, provide regulatory guidance, and support site audits and continuous improvement efforts. You'll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to: Manage manufacturing compliance documentation in alignment with federal, state, and internal standards. Assist in the development, implementation, and revision of food safety and quality programs and policies. Provide regulatory and manufacturing compliance guidance on emerging issues and industry standards. Serve as a subject matter expert in regulatory and GFSI compliance. Support internal and external audits, conducting both desk and on-site reviews as needed. Lead or support the resolution of quality-related issues including customer complaints, product holds, and deviations. Oversee or contribute to training development, including quality and food safety training content, and help manage the Learning Management System. Support implementation and maintenance of systems such as Document Control, SPC, GFSI, HACCP, Preventive Controls and other quality initiatives. Provide support to manufacturing sites, quality systems and warehouse quality team during escalated or special situations. Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality systems and audit performance. Track regulatory activity, assist with management of import alerts and export documentation as needed. Collaborate with QR Team and Compliance Manager to identify consistent errors where additional training would be beneficial for the QR Team, as well as other departments.
