MISSION
Responsible for the quality control function for the plant. Provides supervision for the Laboratory personnel to ensure quality standards are met in a safe and cost-effective manner. Oversees testing methodologies and provides feedback to various departments to increase production quality. Ensure that safe work practices are implemented and followed in compliance with Corporate Safety policies and State and Federal Regulations.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Responsible for maintaining up to date quality control records.
Responsible for preparing/signing letters of certification and mill test reports.
Serve as the liaison with other departments in adjusting and setting internal set points for process operations to maximize product quality.
Maintains up to date knowledge of lab equipment/systems.
Maintains up to date knowledge of normative and standards.
Drives project of possible/necessary new equipment in collaboration with Senior Quality Control Manager and HTC.
Provides positive work environment for staff to maximize their personal and organizational potential.
Ensure compliance requirements are met through organizational and procedural measures including implementation of Group guidelines, performing trainings, monitoring compliance etc.
Proactively manage health & safety of employees to continuously improve the company's health & safety performance.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION: Four-year degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or similar technical degree.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of five years' experience in cement industry required quality control supervision desired.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE: Thorough understanding of cement chemistry, X-ray, and advanced chemical, physical and microscopic analytical and testing procedures; Knowledgeable in the following analytical methods: XRF, Spectrophotometry, wet chemical methods, physical testing, and clinker/cement microscopy. Knowledge of City, State & Federal statutes and regulations pertaining to Environmental compliance and Safety
BUSINESS UDERSTANDING: In-depth knowledge of relevant ASTM specifications and procedures.

Required qualifications:

Strong working knowledge of construction processes, including civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical systems.

As a Quality Control Manager, you will ensure the project is built within contract document specifications, owner requirements, and comply with local, state, and federal building codes. You will coordinate with other trades, process daily reports of project progress and adhere to all guidelines issued by the owner. As a strong communicator, you will help to build a quality control team that is open, transparent, and delivers excellence.
Responsibilities
Partner with the project team to understand, plan, and implement the contract drawings and specifications
Collaborate with the owner, design team, and contractors to ensure quality and timeliness of project construction and completion
Implement and manage the “Three Phases of Control” Quality Control Plan
Oversee submittal review and approval
Schedule and conduct quality control meetings - Preparatory, Initial Phase, Follow-up
Control documents related to quality control functions
Establish testing procedures in accordance with contract specifications
Manage inspections process
Coordinate third party testing agents and interface with the Owner's representatives as required
Closely track and maintain a project deficiency log
Manage the punch list process
Oversee project closeout deliverable process-training, O&Ms
Confer directly with the executive management team
Encourage, lead, and/or participate in staff training and development
Proactively identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate and win the right work
Take an active role in recruiting top industry talent to join the Clark team. Identify, hire, and retain outstanding people

Basic Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction or related discipline
Must have minimum of 10 years experience in construction and 5+ years construction QC experience
Must be familiar with EM-385-1-1
Ability to communicate effectively with, persuade, and gain “buy-in” from, a broad range of stakeholders (e.g., executive team, leadership team, Business Unit Leaders, direct reports, clients, trade partners, and third party providers

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in large scale construction management or construction trade with increasing levels of responsibility

Prior experience developing and managing Quality Control Plans
The work environment and requirements described below are representative of those necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.
The Physical Side of the Role: This is an active, hands-on role. You can expect to be on your feet frequently, navigating active job sites with uneven terrain, stairs, ladders, and hoists. The work is physically demanding and requires a full range of motion, including bending, kneeling, and reaching. You'll need to be comfortable frequently lifting and carrying materials up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds. This role requires the ability to communicate effectively, as well as visual acuity for reading plans and inspecting work. The role does include desk time in the office that may require prolonged periods of sitting for tasks like computer work, document review, and meetings.
Your Work Environment: You'll spend a significant amount of your time on active construction sites, which means being adaptable to all kinds of weather and moderate to loud noise levels, and comfortable in elevated or confined work areas with moving mechanical equipment and with the fast-paced nature of a project in progress. You will also spend time in a typical office setting with moderate noise levels. Your safety is our top priority, and you'll be expected to follow Clark Construction's safety policies and procedures, and all applicable laws, at all locations.

Job Functions
* Open / Update / Invoice Orders in Oracle
* Confirm data received from the branch against the client contract and internal databases to verify that services are charged correctly and according to client instructions
* Monitors unbilled orders and works with internal staff for timely resolution
* Review daily reports to ensure invoicing is turned around timely to reduce accruals and improve DSO and Bad Debt
* Answers inquiries about invoices from partners and clients
* Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients
* Participates in special projects as required
* Adheres to internal standards, policies, and procedures
* Performs other duties as assigned
* Distribution of the invoices as per customer requirements
* Prepares invoice for analysis services in SLIM
