The Nursing Quality Coordinator (NQC) will report to the Nursing Quality and Safe Patient Handling Program Manager. This role will oversee all nurse-sensitive indicators to include all hospital patient falls-witnessed, unwitnessed, & falls with injuries, Catheter-Associated Urinary Tract Infections (CAUTI), Central Line Associated Blood Infections (CLABSI), Clostridium Difficile Infections (CDIFF), and Hospital Acquired Pressure Injuries (HAPIs). The NQC, will review high-incidence units of the identified NSI and provide nursing education, complete root cause analysis, data analysis, and patient care outcomes. The role is to be a leader in the implementation of evidence-based practices impacting nurse-sensitive quality indicators.
