POSITION OVERVIEW
The Quality Technician is responsible for driving the 80 Acres Farms quality and food safety program across all processes at the farm. With strong knowledge of 80 Acres Farms Food Safety and Quality procedures the Quality Technician will perform process audits, product monitoring and verification checks, shelf-life evaluations and collection of food safety and quality data as applicable. The Quality Technician will be responsible for on-time identification and escalation of food safety and quality issues at the farm level, assist in food safety and quality training, support implementation of corrective actions, conduct and participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement projects.

Key responsibilities and duties:
Monitor and verify compliance with food safety and quality programs and procedures on a day-to-day basis.

Evaluate product adherence to specification at different stages in the process, including harvest, mixing, and packing.

The Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring that all products meet the company's quality standards before they are released for further processing or shipment. This role involves conducting inspections, performing tests, and maintaining detailed records of quality assessments. The Quality Technician will work closely with production teams to identify and address any quality issues, ensuring that processes align with established specifications and standards. Key responsibilities include monitoring the quality of materials, components, and finished products, as well as implementing and maintaining quality control systems. The technician will also play a critical role in troubleshooting problems, providing feedback to production staff, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. This position requires strong attention to detail, an understanding of fabrication and manufacturing processes, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members. This is a hands-on quality role that includes assisting with the manufacturing process, such as preparing metal products for finishing with processes like sandblasting, grinding, and sanding.

Qualifications & Skills
2+ years of experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of quality control procedures and standards (ex. ASQ Certification) is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Able to read and interpret production schedule.
Ability to multitask.
Ability to move part locations in changing schedule.

Prior experience with continuous improvement efforts (ex. Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S) is preferred.
Responsibilities & Duties
Inspect materials, components, and finished products for quality compliance.
Maintain accurate records of inspections and results.
Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures.
Support continuous improvement efforts.
Willingness to receive cross training in other departments (ex. finishing, packaging, assembly).
Verify parts are retrieved and staged in First-In, First-Out (FIFO) order
Confirm the size and count of parts are accurate as per the inventory list.
Verify that parts meet the quality standards and specifications.
Ensure parts are correctly identified and organized for the next stages of production.
Prepare metal products for finishing with processes like sandblasting, grinding, and sanding.
Move racks into and out of cure ovens as required.
Ensure racks are loaded and unloaded safely and efficiently to maintain the production flow.
Complete light clerical tasks such as manual record keeping.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment by completing cleaning tasks such as, sweeping floors and disposing of trash.
Effectively communicate information and respond to questions from various levels within the organization.
Demonstrated fluency in spoken and written English.
Physical labor is a requirement of this position. Ability to work on feet all day and lift up to 75 pounds four feet in height.
Regular, timely, and predictable attendance is required for this position.
Pay & Schedule
Swing Shift: Monday - Thursday from 4:15 pm - 2:45 am.
Hourly Rate: $20.00 $24.00 per hour, DOE. Pay rate includes a $2.00 per hour swing shift differential.
Overtime: Friday shifts may be required based on production needs; all hours over 40 are paid at time-and-a-half.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Work side by side with Quality Engineers and execute tasks related to Quality monitoring for SolarEdge Products manufactured in Jabil Erda, UT.
* Be part of the local SolarEdge Quality team located at Jabil Erda and contribute to meeting the goal of high Quality and Reliability products production.
* Will be assigned to special technical tests, gathering the information and communicating the results to the Quality Engineering and Management.

Requirements
* Technical post-high school education in Electronics, Electro-Mechanics or Mechanics, Technicon.
* Additional Education in Quality Assurance.
* At least 3 years experience in Quality of multidisciplinary electronics mass production at OEM Contract Manufacturers.
* Proven experience in different production methodologies, technologies, and processes of High-end Electronics, Electro-Mechanics, and Mechanical Products.
* The Quality Technician shall have knowledge of reading Electrical and Mechanical drawings and good technical skills for the assembly of modules/systems.
* Good Personal skills.
* Good knowledge in computing Microsoft Office-must, others-advantage.
* Ability to identify, log, and/or troubleshoot issues that arise during production.
* Certification in IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, IPC-7011/7021, J-STD-002/003 preferred.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.
