This role focuses on preparing fiber optic and Cat6 cables for deployment by labeling, bundling, and organizing them according to detailed specifications. Your work will directly support field installation teams and ensure efficient deployment to customer sites or data centers. Responsibilities Accurately apply printed or pre-assigned labels to both ends of fiber and Cat6 cables. Follow specific naming conventions and labeling instructions from project documentation or supervisors. Neatly bundle cables in specified groupings using Velcro straps or approved cable ties. Package cables by job, rack, or zone according to project plans or pick lists. Sort and stage completed bundles for shipment or deployment. Inspect cables for correct labeling, lengths, and physical integrity before bundling. Maintain neat and consistent bundling practices to ensure tangle-free transport and install readiness.
