Job Description The Railcar Technician conducts all aspects of repair and maintenance on tank cars. This person must demonstrate good leadership and team skills while being a safety-conscious person. Railcar Repair - always uses current repair procedures. Conducts railcar inspections to ensure cars are in compliance and performs repairs as necessary. Customer Support - Meets the expectations and requirements of all customers to ensure their satisfaction of work. Clerical - ensures that all necessary invoicing, inspection, work order information is complete. Maintains all certifications, including tank car welding, complete and maintain required certifications, demonstrates strong familiarity with AAR rules and regulations. Service Technician is responsible to learn to install, repair, and sell automotive equipment to Fleets, Automotive Dealerships, Industrial Facilities, Agricultural Equipment Cemters, Automotive Service Centers, Body Shops, and similar industries. AES, LLC is an authorized warranty service center for many types and brands of equipment. Service Technicians must be able to use training and tools provided by AES and its vendor partners to properly diagnose and repair such equipment. Responsibilities * TECHNICAL TASKS * Inspects the OR for cleanliness, completeness, proper arrangement of furniture and equipment as needed. * Obtains and returns additional equipment and supplies as directed by RN * Locates various trauma. emergency or specialty care supplies, equipment and instrumentation carts * Assists in completion of postmortem patient care and delivers expired patient to established area * Collects and delivers specimens to appropriate area according to hospital procedure * Knows patient positioning on the OR bed and practices safety standards when handling patients * CRITICAL THINKING * Ability to function in emergency cases by locating trauma, emergency or specialty case supplies, equipment and instrument carts. * Develops activity priorities appropriately * Anticipates and carries out protective techniques for safety to patients, coworkers and self. * Plans time to respond accordingly within a minimum amount of time to minimize delays and without interference to the quality of care to the patient. * Is familiar with entire perioperative area and able to function in all areas. * Other duties * Consistently performs 12 organizational Service Standards focused on Values, Service and Quality. Qualifications * None * High School or equivalent * Communication, and Customer Service Skills. BLS within 30 days of hire
