We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer II with a focus on developing complex systems in C/C++ and Java. What You Will Do

Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a bachelor's in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
Experience developing complex systems and applications using C/C++, Java or other object-oriented programming language.
Experience in a Unix/Linux operating system.

Position Summary: This Pricing Engineer will review and analyze customer RFQs, drawings, CAD models, and specifications to price and quote projects to ensure low cost and efficient manufacturing while satisfying all requirements and product specifications.
Essential Functions:
Interact with sales, internal Engineering teams, and external vendors to appropriately price new customer projects
Review customer agreements and specifications to ensure materials used are appropriate for the job and abide by ISO specifications (as applicable)
Determine feasibility of part designs, recommend modifications for manufacturing, cost efficiency, and competitiveness
Review and approving all tool designs and design changes, making any updates to pricing as needed
Work with suppliers and vendors to obtain costs for tooling, secondary options, and specialty materials
Ensuring complete and accurate filing of customer history folders, pricing data, and related records/reports
Preparing estimates for the teams to plan, organize, and schedule work
Support business development by providing technical input during customer meetings and presentations
Ability to balance multiple RFQ packages with hard deadlines
