Ensure security, logging, role-based access control (RBAC), and audit trails are implemented consistently across environments. Automation & CI/CD Pipelines Build reusable Azure DevOps pipelines for deploying ML assets (data pre-processing, model training, evaluation, and inference services). Use Terraform to automate provisioning of Azure resources, ensuring consistent and compliant environments for data science and engineering teams. Integrate automated testing, linting, monitoring, and rollback mechanisms into the ML deployment pipeline. Collaboration & Enablement Work closely with Data Scientists, Cloud Engineers, and Product Teams to deliver production-ready AI features. Contribute to solution architecture for real-time and batch AI use cases, including conversational AI, enterprise search, and summarization tools powered by LLMs. Provide technical guidance on cost optimization, scalability patterns, and high-availability ML deployments. Qualifications & Skills Required Experience Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in ML engineering, MLOps, or platform engineering roles. Strong experience deploying machine learning models on Azure using Azure ML and Azure DevOps. Proven experience managing infrastructure as code with Terraform in production environments. The TOOLS you'll bring with you: * 5+ years of experience in MLOps, DataOps, DevOps, or backend engineering roles. * Experience with Databricks ML services, SageMaker, Azure ML. * Strong Python skills and familiarity with ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, MLflow). * Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Spacelift, GitHub Actions, Databricks Asset Bundles, Azure Pipelines) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). * Proven ability to build CI/CD pipelines and model registries from scratch. * Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Azure Synapse Monitoring, Azure ML Studio monitoring, Databricks Lakehouse Monitoring, CloudWatch, CloudTrail). * Hands-on experience with model and data quality monitoring. * Strong understanding of the ML lifecycle, from data ingestion to model deployment strategies and retraining. * Experience supporting multi-cloud environments and cross-functional collaboration. * Experience maintaining ops pipelines for end user facing solutions, ideally in situations where access to data and/or deployed models may be limited. Work Mode: Onsite Opportunity As a Staff Engineer for Current Product Development, you will be updating and improving KOHLER products and collaborating with cross-functional peers to solve engineering problems. Staff Engineers will work with cross functional groups on CPD projects and are expected to handle responsibilities and perform moderately complex assignments involving large and important projects, with only general direction of management personnel. The Staff Engineer will exhibit considerable project management skill, including complete planning, implementation and critique of all engineering deliverables. Specific Responsibilities * Conduct engineering analysis and implementation of design modifications to improve performance, manufacturability, or cost optimization. * Prototype concepts and test them in Kohler's test lab. * Diagnose laboratory test failures, establish root causes, and implement solutions. * Clearly and effectively present (both written and orally) the results of their efforts to their project teams and/or management as appropriate. * Implement the development process to take a product into production according to established milestones. * Prepare drawings and documentation needed to define the product design. * Coordination of development timing. * Present and disseminate technical data to other group functions or groups as requested and needed for business decision-making. Assist in functional excellence improvement.
