Actual compensation will be determined based on location, and other factors permitted by law. Duties & Responsibilities
* Scanning and Imaging Operations: perform PET/SPECT/CT and IVIS imaging, maintain and calibrate equipment, acquire and analyze imaging data, work with animals.
* Training and User Support: conduct on-site training sessions, provide technical guidance and hands-on assistance, oversee the research groups members in the MIL performing animal microsurgeries.

Additional Physical Demands

Minimum Qualifications

At least one year of laboratory experience, ideally within the molecular imaging field, with hands-on experience in nuclear and optical imaging techniques. Experience in acquiring, analyzing, and interpreting imaging data is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with experimental workflows and imaging instrumentation. Laboratory experience, including working with animals.

Appointment Information
This is a 100% full-time Civil Service 4524 - Research Technologist I position, appointed on a 12-month basis. The expected start date is as soon as possible after February 2, 2026. The salary range for this position is $50,000-$60,000 per year. Final salary offered will be determined by a thorough assessment of available market data, internal salary equity, candidate experience and qualifications, collective bargaining agreements, and budget constraints.

Appointment Information
This is a 100% full-time Visiting Academic Professional position, appointed on a 12-month basis. The expected start date is as soon as possible after the closing date. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, while also considering internal equity. The budgeted salary range for the position is $50,500 to $55,000. Sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this position.
