Job Title: EHS Manager - Mission Critical
Job Summary: Responsible for assisting management and Site Supervision in the general business operations of the company by overseeing and directing the company's Safety Program for their assigned project(s). The EHS Manager will ensure training all site employees on the Safety Program and will act as a resource for safety related items. Create and maintain first aid supplies, emergency response and crisis management plans.
Conduct regular safety inspections, review safety compliance of work locations and job sites, develop action steps to correct deficiencies, prepare and distribute detailed reports of findings, and follow up to ensure measures have been implemented.
Ensure project field documentation related to safety is being properly processed and maintained.
Attend and participate in Safe Start (PreCon) Meetings with Subcontractors.
Review Alston Construction and subcontractor Site Specific Safety and Health Plans (SSSHPs) and ensure copies are on site.
Maintain and review submitted Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) from Subcontractors.
Coordinate and jointly conduct (with Project Supervision) Weekly All Hands Safety Meetings. Maintain records of participation by Subcontractors.
Ensure Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) are completed and reviewed, and signed off by the subcontractor workers. File submitted JHAs received by Subcontractors.
Manage OSHA site visits and inspections and ensure appropriate reporting is made to government agencies.
Investigate all incidents (near-misses to fatalities) utilizing the Root Cause Analysis format and report findings to the Senior EHS Manager/ Regional Safety Director, Corporate Safety and Executive Vice President.
Education, Experience, and Licensing/Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction safety management with a construction general contractor.
An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Valid State-issued driver's license and satisfactory driving record and vehicle insurance which meets Alston Construction liability coverage requirements.
OSHA 30-hour Certification. OSHA 500 preferred.
First Aid/CPR/AED Certification.

This position will support a variety Dam Safety Engineering projects across the East Region. Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with demonstrated coursework in Geotechnical Engineering + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Licensed as a Professional Engineer in at least one state with the ability to successfully apply for reciprocity in additional states.
Relevant experience with dams and other hydraulic structures, including rehabilitation and/or new design and construction.
Experience in relevant geotechnical engineering software programs such as GeoStudio and gINT.
Valid U.S. Driver's License and as a condition of employment, must be able to pass AECOM's Motor Vehicle Records review.
Due to the nature of work, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
8 years of experience in Geotechnical Engineering and/or Dams Engineering.
Master's degree in Civil Engineering.

Job Summary
A Project HSE Manager is an integral member of a project team and they are highly dedicated to the health and well-being of others. In addition to serving as a safety resource for their teammates, their main function is to facilitate Sundt HS&E programs. This position includes three 'steps' (I, II and Sr.), which provide for a progression of skill and experience. Step I is the entry level for individuals with a short experience in safety and they typically report to another Project HSE Manager. Individuals in step II have the capability of managing small to medium size/complexity projects on their own. Sr Project HSE Managers have several years of experience and the ability to manage larger and more complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conducts frequent safety walks/inspections of the project and adjacent property.
2. Conducts site-specific safety orientations.
3. Creates, updates, maintains, and facilitates the Project Environmental Management Plan.
4. Creates, updates, maintains, and facilitates the Project Safety Management Plan.
5. Facilitates the Sundt Safety Management and Illness Prevention Systems Manual on the project.
6. Manages emergencies, incidents, and worker's compensation claims.
7. Reviews and files project safety documentation.
Minimum Job Requirements
1. Certifications and licenses: Preferred, but not required- STSC, CHST, ASP, CSP.
2. Education: high school diploma minimum, bachelor's degree preferred.
3. Experience: At least one year of full-time project safety experience.
4. Good written and verbal communication (proper grammar, spelling, etc.
5. High level of integrity for reporting incidents and events, as well as upholding company policy, personal activities, etc.
6. Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs.
7. Special skills: able to use various computer software and apps proficiently, bi-lingual preferred .

Physical Requirements
1. Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to; steel toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hardhat, vest, etc.)

4. May use telephone, computer system, email, or other electronic devices to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors.
5. Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures.
