About the role We are looking to add a Security Officer to our growing Security Department. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing a safe environment for our Riot Employees. This on-site position will directly support our security operations at our Rockdale, TX facility. Essential Functions Carry out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Report security violations and questionable activities, monitors facilities for damages from vandalism. Patrol the property by motorized vehicle and/or foot to prevent crimes, enforce rules and protect workforce and property. Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property. Secure all exits, doors and windows after end of operations. Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation. Provide assistance to people in need. This position is shift work and will work weekends, evenings and some holidays. Some positions will serve our Northwest Houston campus and The College of Nursing located in the Texas Medical Center.
