MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Security and Safety · Guard school building and property and make prescribed rounds of inspection through the day. · Patrol school corridors, locker rooms, restrooms, assembly and athletic facilities, gymnasiums, bus loading areas, and other campus locations in order to observe student behavior and prevent violations or unsafe activities. · Assist campus administrators with emergency lock-down drills, and review of Campus Emergency Operation Plan (EOP). · Work closely with campus and administration officials to develop an attitude sensitive to the need for creating and maintaining a safe and secure environment. · Assist staff, police, and emergency personnel in handling emergencies or disruptive situations. · Intercept and appropriately handle unauthorized visitors. · Notify administrators of any emergency, dangerous situations, or unusual circumstances; to include evidence of substance abuse, child abuse, child neglect, medical conditions, or mental health crises. · Demonstrate professional and ethical behavior working with students, parents, school District personnel, and outside agencies associated with the school. · Assist in protecting students, staff, and visitors from dangerous threats. · Patrol school corridors, locker rooms, restrooms, assembly and athletic facilities, gymnasiums, bus loading areas, and other campus locations in order to observe student behavior and prevent violations or unsafe activities. Communication · Maintain effective and constructive relationships with the campus principals, campus staff, and District staff. Screening Specialist teams will be outfitted with a company vehicle capable of transporting the team and the screening equipment safely and securely to the designated location. Same day and overnight travel may be required depending on the assignment and the distance to the location. Global Security (GS) protects the firm's employees and assets throughout the world. Global Security is responsible for developing security standards and procedures; ATM, branch and corporate building security; guard force management; alarm response; crisis management; pre-employment screening; fraud and employee investigations; and corporate aviation. Excluding Chase retail locations, the other lines of business and corporate functions occupy what is known as JPMorgan Chase corporate office space. These offices are found across the country, varying in size and function. They include small rental spaces with 20 full time employees, urban high-rise office buildings, and large corporate campuses with thousands of employees. As a Site Security Manager in Global Security, you will be responsible for the security of your assigned location(s). Overseeing the generation and implementation of comprehensive plans of action to mitigate threats and vulnerabilities to the site and it's employees or clients. Utilizing professional security practices, you will develop and implement any enhanced security protocols, procedures, and policies to optimize the overall performance of the Global Security North America Physical Security team. Job Responsibilities Respond to incidents and coordinate staff follow up, including necessary investigation and risk mitigation, in partnership with line of business management, corporate partners, and law enforcement. Develop and maintain relationships and lines of communication with key line of business partners and management, attend key management meetings to maintain visibility and open lines of communication, and coordinate plans to mitigate known civil disturbances, protests, etc. that have proximity or target company locations and personnel. Manage guard force in territory of assignment Perform periodic security review and risk assessment at assigned regional facilities and conduct periodic security and personal safety training. Support installation of security systems for existing and new-build properties. Be available for after-hours response to emergency incidents, assist with corporate events and executive protection as needed, and travel in support of department functions.
