NETS is seeking Transportation Security Officers (TSO) to work at the Rochester International Airport in Rochester, New York (ROC
This position performs a variety of duties related to providing security and protection of air travelers airports and aircrafts. Specifically you will be responsible for identifying dangerous objects in baggage cargo and/or on passengers; and preventing those objects from being transported onto aircraft. You are required to perform various tasks such as: wanding pat down searches operation of x-ray machines lifting of baggage (up to 50 pounds) and screening and ticket review using electronic and imaging equipment. As a NETS Transportation Security Officer you may perform passenger screening baggage screening or both. You are expected to perform these duties in a courteous and professional manner.
Provides the traveling public with the highest levels of security customer service and professionalism
Performs a variety of duties related to providing security and protection of air travelers airports and aircrafts and various tasks such as: pat down searches operation of x-ray machines property searches and ticket document checking using electronic and imaging equipment
Continuously and effectively interact with the public giving directions and responding to inquiries in a reasonable tone and manner
Stand and remain standing for periods up to three hours without sitting
Lift and/or assist another individual to lift (from the ground) an object weighing 50 pounds
Maintain focus and awareness within a stressful environment containing numerous distractions which includes noise from alarms machinery people time pressure disruptive and disruptive passengers and the requirement to identify and locate potentially life-threatening devices and devices intended on creating massive destruction
Make effective decisions in both crisis and routine situations
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High School Diploma GED or equivalent; or minimum one year work experience in security work aviation screener work or x-ray technician work
Must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to represent NETS in a positive and professional manner when interacting with the traveling public and stakeholders
Excellent visual observation and identification skills
Skill sufficient to operate all advanced technologies and security equipment at screening checkpoints
Must have the ability to attain dual function certification
Must be a US citizen or US National
Must be proficient in English (reading writing speaking and listening)
Must possess excellent mental abilities (visual observation and identification mental rotation)
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills (responsibility honesty integrity)
Must possess excellent work values
Able to work irregular hours and/or shifts including split shifts holidays weekends overtime and extended hours
Able to successfully complete required classroom and on-the-job training and certification exams
Ability to obtain a successful background investigation including criminal and credit checks required. Credit checks that reveal any of the following will result in ineligibility for this position: 1) defaulted on $7500 or more in debt (excluding certain circumstances of bankruptcy); 2) owe any delinquent federal or state taxes; or 3) owe any past due child support payments
Must meet the following medical standards:
Distance vision correctable to 20/30 better in the best eye and 20/100 or better in the worse eye
Near vision correctable to 20/50 or better binocular
Color perception (e.g. red green blue yellow orange purple brown black white gray) note: color filters (e.g. contact lenses) for enhancing color discrimination are prohibited
Hearing as measured by audiometry cannot exceed: a) an average hearing loss of 30 decibels (ANSI) at 500 1000 2000 and 3000Hz in each ear b) single readings of 50 decibels at 2000 or 3000 Hz in each ear c) single reading of 55 decibels at 4000 Hz in each ear
Adequate joint mobility dexterity and range of motion strength and stability (to lift and move up to 50 pounds) as well as a complete medical evaluation including cardiovascular system hypertension etc.
Ability to maintain focus awareness and work within a stressful environment which includes noise for alarms machinery people distractions and time pressure
Pass a Drug and Alcohol Screening and random screening.
Conditions of Continued Employment:
In addition you must successfully complete any required training at the FLETC Training Academy located in Glynco GA or at another location determined by TSA. This will be followed with on-the-job training and a certification examination.
Continued employment is contingent upon passing recurrent training and certification exams on a periodic basis.
This is a non-critical sensitive National Security position that requires you to be fingerprinted photographed and complete appropriate security paperwork including a TSA background Investigation for National Security Positions.

Job Responsibilities

The officer would be expected to perform routine security patrols, investigate reported and self-initiated complaints. Investigate and prepare reports on all incidents reported to security (criminal complaints, fire alarms, injuries, accidents and illnesses). Respond to emergency situations, assist with building evacuation and provide aid and assistance where needed. Assist with medical needs and call for/provide transportation to medical resources. Other routine duties include but are not limited to on-campus parking and traffic enforcement and control, enforce college regulations and lock and unlock campus buildings. The officer will also be available to operate all department vehicles which include campus shuttles and provide security escorts to students, faculty and staff upon request.

Primary Purpose of Position
Responsible for supporting Constellation's Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and the Department of Transportation (DOT) Fitness for Duty (FFD) programs. This position will aid in ensuring that Constellation personnel are fit for duty by avoiding substance abuse and not being under the influence of any substance, whether legal or illegal, that could impair their ability to perform their duties safely and competently. The Fitness for Duty Programs apply to employees and contract workers who work at Constellation, Constellation parents, and/or subsidiaries. These programs comply with the requirements of NRC Part 26, (employees and contract workers who work at Constellation's Nuclear Clean Energy Center's and/or hold positions that require them to be a part of the fitness for duty program, I.e., Emergency Response Organization (ERO Members) and Fitness for Duty Administrator (FFDA), DOT Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, 49 CFR Part 382, and for Constellation's pipeline facilities, the DOT Pipeline, and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration requirements, 49 CFR Part 199. This position is a part of a multi-disciplinary team and must work closely with contractors, vendors, and other professionals outside of Corporate Access Authorization and Fitness for Duty (AA/FFD).
Primary Duties and Accountabilities
This individual will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and drug-free work environment for all employees and contractors and ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory guidelines. This includes, maintaining accurate records of test results and employee information and enter all testing into the Fitness for Duty database.
Conduct fitness for duty testing at various work locations to maintain compliance with NRC and DOT regulations, as well as company policy. They will provide guidance and direction to employees and their supervisors regarding the drug and alcohol testing process. Testing includes, but is not limited to pre-access, random, follow-up, post-accident, and for cause.
Assist in the implementation of Constellation's Nuclear Fitness for Duty Program to ensure compliance with the Code of Federal Regulation(s).
Maintain extensive knowledge of Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR 73.55, 10 CFR 73.56, 10 CFR 73.57, 10 CFR 26, Regulatory Guide 5.66), Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) document(s) 03-01-Regulated), NRC Inspection Procedures, and Site Security Plan.
Generate and implement Fitness for Duty processes with the highest level of confidentiality.
On call 24/7 for Access Authorization & Fitness for Duty concerns/incidents; ability to respond outside of normal business hours. Maintain knowledge and understanding of Security Operations procedures, polices, and processes
Directly work with corporate AA/FFD management in the coordination of employee in-processing for UA/UAA and Fitness for Duty concerns
Support site In-processing and outage schedule by working with outage management to implement cost effective timely in-processing.
Travel is required
Conduct Blind Performance testing as described in 10CFR26.
Qualify and maintain training and certifications for breath alcohol and urine specimen collector.
Assist with testing records and enter all results into the Fitness for Duty database.
Support Fitness for Duty program for other areas of the business to include: Constellation Generation (Nuclear FFD), Department of Transportation FFD Program, Power FFD Program, etc.
Qualify and execute the functions as a Level 1 and 2 Reviewing Official in support of in processing activities.
Qualify and maintain qualifications responsible for the operation of Personnel Access Data System (PADS); ensure compliance with NEI/PADS policies, procedures, and system security requirements.
Perform other job assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuant to company policy, including but not limited to emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities in positions outside the department.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to oversee and manage all aspects of our industrial security program in compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and other applicable government regulations. This role will serve as the primary liaison between our company and government security agencies, ensuring the protection of classified and controlled unclassified information and the integrity of our secure facilities.
The Industrial Security Specialist will serve as the primary company point of contact for all industrial security concerns and will provide security expertise, guidance, and advice to management and staff within the company. The candidate will be required to conduct security self-inspections, apply risk mitigation methodologies, support customer assessments, implement administrative programs, and implement security measures and programs to meet all requirements. This position will serve as the Facility Security Officer(FSO).
Key Results Areas:
Level II: Service - Coordinating "production" with problem solving and prevention
Resource management (material and people)
* Conduct security briefings, debriefings, and annual refresher training for cleared employees.
* Oversee physical security measures including access control systems, alarm systems, and visitor management.
* Prepare for and support government security inspections and audits (e.g., DSS, DCSA, BPMI, or other Government agencies).
* Investigate and report security violations, incidents, and suspicious activities.
* Maintain accurate records of classified material, secure containers, and security equipment.
* Collaborate with program managers, HR, IT, the Export & Defense Compliance Manager, and legal teams to ensure compliance across departments.
* Serve as the Insider Threat Program Senior Official (ITPSO), managing insider threat awareness and reporting.
* Government compliance with mandates, including but not limited to, CMMC, ITARCISA, FISMA NISPOM, ICDs, OPNAVINST 9210.3, NNPI, CUI, NIST SP 800-171, and NIST SP 800-53
* Coordinate with and support the Export & Defense Compliance Manager to ensure IT Enterprise Infrastructure complies with applicable U.S. export laws and regulations.
* Coordinates with the Marine products leads and managers on information security matters
* Trains junior security staff
Resource scheduling, output management and reporting
* Develop, implement, and maintain security policies and procedures in accordance with NISPOM, DoD directives, and company standards
* Manage personnel security clearances, including initiation, reinvestigation, and continuous evaluation through DISS and NISS
* Manage reporting and reporting of employee foreign travel
* Able to administer day-to-day security programs: personnel processing, program reviews, incident reports, visit requests, DD254 forms, and related.
* FOCI Reporting in NISS and any other FOCI related documentation including the SF328
* DD2345 edits and renewals
* Performs and documents self-inspections
* This role ensures that proper Industrial Security procedures are followed in accordance with 32 CFR Part 117, Department of Defense (DoD) 5205.074 V1-4, DoD 5105.21 V1-3, ICDs 704 & 705 and other customer specific security requirements

Qualifications:
