Manage a portfolio of Geotechnical and Construction Materials Testing projects meeting client and company requirements for safety, budget, quality and schedule
Safely supervise field exploration, sampling, inspection, analysis and technical support.
Mentor and manage junior staff and project level geotechnical professionals through project performance
Perform and develop scopes for field and office tasks (technical and non-technical) and independent analysis.
Coordinate tasks and manage medium to large size multi-disciplined projects with guidance and interaction by senior operations/technical staff.
Prepare or review designs, reports and calculations on complex projects.
Strong analytical skills are required in areas including:
soil and rock classification,
seismic evaluations,
slope stability analysis,
earth retention systems,
shallow and deep foundation design,
construction support, and
soil improvement techniques
pipeline, power transmission,
Education & Experience:
8+ years of related experience.
Registered Professional Engineer (PE) License, with the ability to achieve registration in multiple states.
Must have a positive work attitude and ability to work safely and efficiently when managing multiple tasks
Ability to work independently or with a team in a multi-disciplinary environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Position will require the candidate to adhere to work assignments/schedules, be self-motivated, organized and have a keen sense of detail.
Candidate must be willing to work in addition to a standard 40-hour work week when needed.
