JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Greets each table in accordance with sequence of service standards and offers their name and assistance throughout the dining experience. Maintains product inventory and supplies including all garnishes, glassware, serving ware, flatware, ice, and miscellaneous supplies throughout shift. Ensures receipt of accurate payments, balances cash drawer during shift, and maintains security and accuracy of bank. Demonstrates skills in guest recovery and requests assistance from management staff as needed. Utilizes all opening and closing checklists effectively and carries out all duties in accordance with room standards. Maintains regular attendance at scheduled shift and staff meetings. Consistently uses all equipment, cleaning, and sanitizing products in accordance with all SDS sheets and departmental standards. To provide BIG Service to internal and external guests and ensure their complete satisfaction, inclusive of greeting and interacting with guests in a friendly and enthusiastic manner, anticipating and meeting guest needs and preferences, remaining calm and professional when dealing with guests that are difficult or upset. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
