Food & Beverage Knowledge: Maintain a strong knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and allergen information. Order Accuracy & Efficiency: Accurately enter customer orders into the POS system, ensuring all items are properly communicated to the kitchen. Double-check orders before sending them to the kitchen to avoid mistakes and ensure accuracy. Assist in keeping food and drink orders organized, ensuring that meals are delivered to the correct tables promptly. Handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively. Customer Satisfaction: Monitor guests throughout their meal to ensure their satisfaction with both food and service. Anticipate guest needs and offer additional items or services, such as refills or dessert, to enhance the overall experience. Handle customer complaints or issues professionally and promptly, working to resolve problems or escalate to a manager when necessary. Ensure a positive guest experience that encourages return visits and positive feedback. Teamwork & Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure efficient service and smooth restaurant operations. Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting tables between guests to maintain a clean dining area. Support the kitchen staff by communicating guest requests, special orders, or modifications to dishes. Cleaning & Sanitation: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the server station and dining area. Ensure that all items, such as silverware, glassware, and condiments, are clean, stocked, and ready for use. Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure food safety, including proper handling of food and beverages. Clean tables, chairs, and surrounding areas as needed between guests to maintain a clean dining environment.
