We currently have an Installation Technician opening for team-oriented individuals possessing vocational training in electronics or electromechanical engineering. In this role, you will be responsible for providing service on ST products at customer sites. The position provides customer contact for all post-installation problems on security systems and equipment, as well as, special project work, when needed.
Responsibilities
Installs intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control security systems.
Run electrical wiring in attics, crawl spaces, and other confined spaces, which can include drilling, trenching and aerial runs.
Complete all wiring, connections, and equipment installations ensuring that security systems are complete and satisfy customer and contractual requirements.
Assists and interfaces with the Installation Team Lead or Project Manager regarding on-site scheduling of work activities and timely delivery of equipment.
Conducts tests to ensure all newly installed systems and component devices are operational.
Troubleshoots new system installations to ensure proper functioning and to ensure system meets local, county, state, or federal codes; legal and/or insurance requirements.
Presents a professional image both in personal and vehicle appearance.
Performs work assignments in a safe manner and within specified cost limits.
Promotes, builds, and maintains good customer relations and assists with contract retention.
Maintains company propriety and documentation in accordance with established policies; handles proprietary information in the prescribed manner; adheres to and supports Securitas Technology policies and procedures including all safety requirements.
Keeps abreast of changes and new developments in products and technology. Attends and completes training programs as requested
Minimum Requirements
MUST HOLD a minimum of 1-2 years of experience installing and/or servicing intrusion, fire alarm, access control, and CCTV security systems.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Vocational/Technical Degree in electrical, security, or computer systems preferred
NICET Certification preferred
IP Video and IT experience preferred
Climb ladders that extend up to 24 ft. in height
Carry items up to 75 pounds
Ability to work on-call on a rotational basis covering after hours & weekend emergency calls.
A valid state driver's license, without restrictions, is required.

V2X has a requirement for a Range Equipment Technician in support of USARCENT live-fire ranges and Training Area lanes in Kuwait. The Range Equipment Technician will report directly to the Range Contact Team Lead and ensure the full spectrum of Range support is provided to enable successful gunnery/range training events. He/she will oversee OCN range support laborers to ensure uninterrupted support of ATA Target Lifter, Theisen Target Systems (TTS), the TRACR operating system, thermal cameras, and range equipment maintenance. The Range Equipment Technician will monitor all range support activity to ensure all support efforts are executed in accordance with Kuwait Government environmental directives, applicable regulations, and SOPs. Additionally, the candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance. Duties include physical labor and providing technical solutions in support of live-fire ranges before, during and after customer use.
Required Hours:
Standard work week will be six (6) days per week for up to eight (8) hours per day while at OCONUS work site(s), and a standard 40-hour work week while at CONUS work sites.
Responsibilities:
Ensures all range support efforts are coordinated and resources identified early during the planning process.
Coordinates directly with internal teammates, and as directed other authorized organizations for all range facility support and training areas.
Manages routine maintenance, equipment, resources, and labor to maintain TTS targetry, ATA targetry, and TRACR operating systems including FLIR cameras, and all ancillary associated equipment.
Prepares and submit weekly range and training reports and maintain historical records, to include MAXIMO work order data entries.
Responsible for actioning all -20 level or above range maintenance efforts, for range support functions including target lifter and TRACR operating system faults as reported by Range Technicians via ad-hoc reporting and followed up per MAXIMO work order processes.
Identifies and tracks efficiencies to reduce unnecessary range support and maintenance costs.
Supervises the emplacement of stationary and moving infantry and armor target lifters and zero panels.
Develops all reports as directed in support of the Prime Program.
Ensures that all range support operations are executed in a Safe manner and meet all range Safety requirements in compliance with the ASG-KU Range Operations Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Assists units in coordinating scheduled training area to ensure units can train in the local training area and remain compliant with Kuwait Government environmental directives.
Provides supervisory expertise in support of Combined Arms ranges for evolving ARCENT training requirements.
Responsible for ensuring the enforcement Safety standards on all ranges and or training areas in accordance with DA PAM 385-63.
Performs other duties as required/directed.
Required Qualifications:
6 years' work experience of range operations at major training sites such as Grafenwoehr, NTC, JRTC and JMRC, with Subject Matter Expertise focused on targetry, device fabrication and range operations.
Detail-oriented with the ability to work under deadlines while adhering to all applicable safety guidelines including: AR 385-63, DA Pam 385-63, and Area Support Group - Kuwait Range Operations Standardized Operating Procedures
Knowledgeable with AR 385-63 Range Safety and DA Pam 385-63 Range Safety.
Knowledgeable with Training Ranges TC 25-8.
Knowledgeable with DA maintenance standards and -10 to -30 level maintenance TTPs relating to fault isolation and repair of equipment.

Receive service calls from Service Resource Center, including a brief description of equipment/system malfunctions.

Install new and retrofit building automation control systems.
Service and troubleshooting existing systems to ensure reliable operation.
Participate in ongoing training programs, including in-house and factory training.
Maximize lead opportunities and contribute to our company goal of 100% customer satisfaction.
Follow all company safety standards while maintaining a professional appearance and attitude.
Qualifications
2+ years of Control Automation experience.
Skilled in creating and modifying building automation controllers using graphical programming tools.
Strong understanding of HVAC control theory and concepts.
Working knowledge of one or more product lines: Trane, Johnson Controls, Distech, Honeywell, Niagara-AX, and N4.
Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networking.
Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Experience with communication protocols: LonWorks, BACnet, and Modbus (including commissioning and troubleshooting).
Familiarity with a wide range of HVAC equipment and troubleshooting techniques.
Pass background check and drug screen.
Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
