This position will be 70-75% in the warehouse as a Material Handler and 25-30% In-Town Driver role. The position is from 7am-3pm daily and is also utilized as a Relief Driver for our other drivers while they are on PTO. The Relief Driver Routes start at 5am.
WHAT DOES THIS POSITION DO?
The main responsibilities for this role include:
Check and confirm dispatch orders and materials for delivery.
Load for orderly dispatch.
Operate truck to pick up and deliver products, materials, supplies, equipment, etc.
Pick up items for return with proper paperwork.
Obtain appropriate signatures on shipping slips and sign for materials picked up.
Pull tickets and pick orders.
Load orders
Maintain clean work area.
Put stock away.
Checks returns.
Uses scanners to check stock items and locate inventory discrepancies.
WHAT IS REQUIRED?
This position is best suited for an individual with:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and at least one year of verifiable delivery driving experience.
Class B license required.
Medical Certificate Required.
Good driving record required. Applicants must also meet the Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements.
Good understanding of traffic rules and regulations; roads, freeways and local layout. Ability to use hand truck, forklift, dolly, pallet jack, etc.

Responsible for keeping charts indicating location and contents of storage tanks and bins.
Complete and accurately monitor grades by weighing grain samples and recording results.
Operate production equipment; start conveyors, bucket elevators select flow pipes, and selects storage tanks to convey grain into storage or for load out.
Prepare rail car for loading; open/close rail car lids using anti-fall harness (safely exit the rail car height: 15-20 feet).
Operate a forklift.
Maintain all equipment including repair, periodic maintenance, and service. Including documenting in web-based maintenance program.
General housekeeping and upkeep of working area to include; sweeping, shoveling, vacuum, compressed air, and sanitation.
Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed.
