Primary Responsibilities Food Safety is the responsibility of all Ventura Coastal manufacturing employees. Upon completion of shipment close out orders and upload them to the portal and forward documents to customers. Maintain shipping records such as goods returned, returnable pallets. Ensure that an adequate supply of shipping materials is always on hand. Monitor tanker arrivals and coordinate customer delivery schedules with logistics manager and tank farm manager. Enter essential data into Citros system. Assist Visalia plant as needed. Assist production clerical team with data entry input as needed. Follow all food safety, work related safety/GMP and HACCP practices as defined by Ventura coastal, LLC. Demonstrate reliable attendance, punctuality and a professional attitude always. Act with professional courtesy to all customers, visitors and guests. Perform other duties as assigned or required. Qualifications and Education Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, large ERP applications. Proficiency with basic mathematics skills. Organizing priorities and staying on task is a must Must be able to work any shift including weekends. High School diploma is a must. Post high school course work in a computer, business, or materials related management field is a significant plus. Two years clerical experience in shipping/receiving is a must. Physical Requirements The clerk will work in a warehouse office environment at a desk top computer with normal ambient temperatures 80% of the time. 20% of the time will be spent standing in a warehouse environment with temperatures varying from winter (55 to 65 degrees) to summer (80 to 90 degrees).
