Job Title: Shipping Coordinator Department: Production The Shipping Coordinator in a manufacturing setting ensures the efficient and accurate movement of goods from the factory to their destination. They also play a key role in maintaining records and resolving any shipping-related issues. Department: Shipping & Receiving Reports To: Shipping & Receiving Manager Classification: Non-exempt (Hourly) Execute duties given by Shipping and Receiving Manager. Properly carry out warehouse duties as assigned. Oversees warehouse functions to ensure systems are running properly and efficiently. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Load and unload material from vehicles such as flatbed, conestoga (with assistance), and van trailers. Tag and organize inventory. Operate overhead crane and fork truck to load and unload material and to move material within the plant. Responsible for bundle splitting using banding tools, fork truck, and overhead crane.
