This position is responsible for safely, efficiently and accurately gather and prepare orders for truck shipments. This position will also physically and electronically receive and handle all incoming materials, in a safe, accurate, and timely manner.
Responsibilities:
Prepare products for domestic and international shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of delivery
Process both domestic and international shipments through various carriers with precise details in compliance with DOT and IATA regulations
Ensure compliance to DOT 49 CFR 172.70 along with Import and Export requirements
Schedule and secure cost-effective transportation of products to meet our customers' shipping requirements
Affixes required shipping labels on packaging to ensure compliance to standard work.
Manage daily communication via e-mail and telephone with the Sales / Order Administration Department and freight companies
Assembles foam packs, wooden or cardboard containers or selects preassembled containers
Perform receiving of all incoming shipments including raw materials, verify packing slip/items received against purchase orders, visually inspect items for damages and place items in specific storage locations
Material handling of items to specific cells within manufacturing in a “First In First Out” methodology
Maintains inventory with a high level of accuracy
Role may require standing for a significant portion of the work day, in some areas, there is a need to lift materials up to 85 lbs.

Position Overview
Are you someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and has a strong work ethic?Were seeking aShipping & Receiving Associateto oversee inbound and outbound shipments, assist with inventory organization, and provide support to our production team asneeded.
Our facilityoperates abusy and compact loading dock, and this role is crucial to maintaining efficient and safe operations.
Key Responsibilities
Receive inbound deliveriespromptly and accurately; unload, sort, and stock materials.
Verify shipmentsusing Bill of Lading (BOL) or packing slips and log incoming goods, including all necessary certifications.
Track inventoryof ingredients, packaging supplies, and finished products
Scan Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and maintain digital documentation
Monitor, trace, and update the status of all incoming and outgoing shipments
Notify appropriate teams of damaged or expired ingredients
Keep the loading dock area clean, safe, and organized
Maintain daily production logs and accurate counts of inventory
Safely operate a forklift (must be certified or willing to obtain certification)
Support production line operations as needed
FollowGood Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)and Safe Quality Food (SQF)standards
Promote and maintain aSafety Firstmindset in all tasks.
Qualifications
2+ years of shipping and receiving experience
2+ years of forklift operation experience
Experience in abrewery, winery, distillery, orfood/beverage productionstrongly preferred
Forklift certification (or ability to obtain one promptly)
Skills & Abilities
Ability tolift 50 lbs repeatedlyand stand for long periods
Tech-savvy: comfortable with Google Workspace(Docs, Sheets, Drive) and in-house communication tools
Strong written and verbalcommunication skills
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
Adaptable and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Comfortable with evolving production needs and priorities
Work Schedule
Tuesday to Friday, 9:00 AM 8:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch)

Set up materials with a high level of attention to detail
Safely package materials
Prepare materials, reports, and inventory records in a computer system
Safely operating a forklift
Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications for the role of Warehouse Assistant:
