    Summary: The purpose of the Receiver is to inspect loads, identifying product and validating shipment quantities, to allow for product breakdown. This includes using electronic scanners and label application when needed. Employees must be able to maintain the expected work pace and meet minimum productivity guidelines as provided by MTC. The employees work refrigerated and freezer areas of a warehouse and may be exposed to one environment for long periods of time. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Receive purchase orders and proceed to corresponding dock to process order. Inspect load received and complete Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) using handheld device. Identify product, locate pallet label, validate quantity, and apply labels to pallets. Scan labels and enter data, including quantity received, expiration date or manufacturing date as required. Liaison between MTC inspection team and USDA ensuring all processes are followed in accordance to MTC policy and Food Safety Requirements. Use handheld devices to notify MTC system when load has been processed for breakdown. Record and resolve discrepancies, as necessary. Communicate with supervisor, office clerk, and co-workers to receive work orders, products, maintain workflow, and organize work environment. Apply knowledge of product and temperature sensitive protocols when transporting, staging pallets and prioritizing workflow. Other Duties and Responsibilities: May return product to stock (RTS). Monitor battery charge on hand-held device. Other duties may be assigned to fulfill MTC's objectives. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: The employee must be proficient in English and basic math skills. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Experience as a certified powered industrial truck (PIT) operator is preferred. Employee must be able to be certified for PIT operation by MTC. Work Environment: The work environment is indoors and the employee may be exposed to cold room or freezer temperatures. The Inside Sales Associate position is responsible for receiving incoming orders for customers, answering inquiries and questions, troubleshooting issues, conducting follow-up customer calls, completing call logs, presenting new or additional featured products to customers by recognizing opportunities to up-sell accounts. Essential Functions: Removes orders from incoming delivery trucks, reconcile Purchase Order (PO) against inbound product for deviations and ensures receiving accuracy, documents expiration dates, quality, or temperature deviations on PO's. Print receiving ticket labels for inbound freight and properly label to meet company standards. Integrates stock in accordance with company rotation and standards of First In, First Out (FIFO). Double checks received items for quality and verify product expiration dates are within acceptable range, notifies supervisor of any discrepancies or concerns. Seeks clarification and advice from supervisor or quality team when unsure of product condition or quality. Check and record cooler temperatures ensuring correct temperatures for assigned cooler per company standard. Responsible for double checking slots to ensure they are filled and rotated accurately, fix any discrepancies and report accordingly to supervisor on shift; verify banding is removed and down stacking is completed as needed. Accurately pull Will Calls and Run Backs and stage them in the designated area. Responsible for pulling assigned customer orders and verifying product dates per customer requirements. Move product needing rework to the Sorting Department as needed. Move the dumpster as needed from dock at beginning and end of shift to ensure open dock for truck loading. Remove pallets and milk crates from the warehouse and sort and stack as needed. Responsible for the cleanliness and proper organization of assigned cooler and general dock and warehouse areas. Assist Day Operations for support at needed. Follows all handling and reporting procedures for allergens. Efficiently handle products with proper care to prevent damage and waste. Accurately and safely operates warehouse equipment and processes related to packaging products. Participates in maintaining a safe work environment, always using safe lifting, pushing, pulling, and reaching practices and following safety procedures. Uses, cleans, and maintains supplies, tools, equipment, and keeps work and storage areas orderly to ensure compliance with company sanitation and safety regulations.
