50% - Greet visitors, collect and account for fees and disseminate information. Work at entrance stations, campgrounds or other visitor contact stations. Use electronic cash registers, electronic credit card verification equipment and computerized reservation and reporting systems.
20% - Provide answers to visitor questions concerning the specific park area, as well as explain the area's recreational opportunities, interpretive services, concessions and campground availability.

Park Technician

Park Technician Advanced (Facilities Repair Worker Advanced)
These positions perform a combination of general maintenance and repair work of a semi-skilled nature to various building types and equipment, including but not limited to park buildings, electrical, plumbing, power tools and vehicles. Work at this level is more complex in nature than the entry level position and this position may occasionally direct and coordinate the work of other facilities repair workers, inmates, students or Limited Term Employees on projects, but is not considered a leadworker. In addition, this position may perform limited trades work below the journeyman level.
50% - Perform facility improvement projects by repairing windows, doors, screens, and walls. Perform minor repairs to water, electrical and heating systems. Perform carpentry, masonry, painting, electrical and plumbing tasks below the Journeyman level.
20% - Mow grass, pick up litter, clean public use areas and beaches. Haul garbage. Paint buildings, grills and picnic tables. Maintain restrooms, campfire rings and picnic grills. Remove trees and brush.
15% - Operate and perform preventative maintenance on equipment such as tractors, snow removal equipment, dozers, trenchers, sprayers, mowers, etc. Perform preventative maintenance and minor repair to mechanical systems (i.e., air handling systems, chillers, air compressors and pumps).
15% - Fill and grade park roads, patch blacktop and maintain culverts and shoulders.
Salary Information
These positions pay between $16.00 - $22.00 per hour and are in pay schedule and range 05-64 (Park Ranger), 02-10 (Visitor Services Associate), 03-10 (Park Technician/ Facilities Repair Worker), 03-12 (Park Technician Advanced/ Facilities Repair Worker Advanced).
Rates offered to selected applicants will depend on the experience of the candidate and the position being offered. Compensation will be set in accordance with the State Compensation Plan.

This is a Limited Term Employment (LTE) position and will not automatically lead to permanent state employment or be entitled to the same benefits as permanent employees.

This is a 3rd shift position, Monday - Thursday 8:00pm - 6:00am, starting at $19.20/hour + $1.00 night shift premium.
JOB SUMMARY: Will be required to drive the company truck to various locations as required. Perform all warehouse functions per standard work. Warehouse responsibilities to include but not limited to moving parts, materials, loading and unloading parts, weigh counting parts, staging shipments, shipping, receiving, etc. Will perform warehouse receiving inspection. May work with Materials department on expedited parts. Proceeds on work assignments with a minimum of supervision and/or direction. Will be required to operate lift truck, stretch wrapper and dock leveler.
JOB DUTIES:
Drive company truck to various locations
Identify and process all paperwork and complete data entry.
Move materials, load & unload trucks, receive materials using a variety of lift trucks, including, but not limited to stand-up and sit down lift.
Weigh count parts as required.
Follow start up and shut down procedures on all equipment, monitor and adjust equipment as necessary and record same.
Move inventory from inspection hold area and/or staging area to stores.
Pull component parts and deliver to manufacturing for processing.
Cycle count inventory, maintain and make adjustments to same in established systems.
Notify carriers and/or courier services when pick-ups are necessary.
Process all UPS, USPS, & FEDEX shipments.
Process coupling orders to prepare for shipment.
Utilize the available computer software programs as required.
Identify equipment irregularities and/or malfunctions and make correction or notify proper person.
Maintain required documentation of driving and truck PM's.
Work safely at all times and comply with safety regulations regarding the use of protective equipment and devices.
Keep work area, equipment, machines, etc. clean and orderly at all times.
Offer suggestions for improving productivity, process, safety, or work environment
Perform other miscellaneous job assignments and related functions as directed by Team Lead, Manager, or other designated person.
Must perform as a team member with the willingness and attitude to work with others to resolve problems. Must also maintain a good working relationship with others within the organization.
Basic Qualifications:
Class C Drivers License.
