What We're Looking For (Must Haves):
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar.
7-12+ years of embedded software development experience (flexible - right fit prioritized).
Strong experience with embedded processor platforms (ARM, PowerPC, MSP430, PIC32, x86 preferred).
Expertise with embedded Linux, device drivers, BSPs, bootloaders, Yocto, Buildroot.
Experience with bare-metal development, RTOS platforms, and low-level system programming.
Strong understanding of CPU internals (caches, MMU, interrupts, DMA, power states).
Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams on product design.

The Software Engineering Intern will help design and enhance digital tools that power PURIS's manufacturing, research, and business systems. You'll collaborate with engineers and analysts to create efficient, scalable software solutions that improve how our teams work, communicate, and innovate.

Responsibilities
Support development and maintenance of internal software applications and automation tools.
Assist with coding, testing, debugging, and documenting new or existing programs.
Collaborate with operations and IT teams to translate user needs into software improvements.
Participate in system integration projects to connect applications across departments.
Evaluate emerging technologies that could improve process efficiency or data visibility.
Coding AI Agents throughout different departments for a variety of necessary business needs.

Requirements
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Experience with one or more programming languages (Python, C#, JavaScript, etc.).
Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.

Vi i digitalenheten utvikler helt nye digitale løsninger for privatmarkedet i Norge. Vi er Handelsbanken Norges in-house teknologimiljø. Målet vårt er å levere en brukervennlig og personlig digital opplevelse som spiller godt sammen med det fysiske møtet mellom kunde og rådgiver. Hvilket ansvar har du som Engineering Manager?
Som EM har du personalansvar for en gruppe dyktige utviklere, i tillegg til at du tilrettelegger for trivsel og videreutvikling på avdelingen. Samtidig er du en sterk fagperson som fungerer som mentor og bidrar til en høy standard innen kode, arkitektur og devops-kultur. Vår tech stack inkluderer TypeScript, React Native, Java, Spring Boot, Azure og Kubernetes.
Ikke minst tar du et strategisk ansvar for at vårt produkt og vi som enhet utvikler oss i riktig retning. Du er med å styre roadmap og mål for avdelingen og rapporterer til Head of Engineering.
