Your Opportunity
The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of transportation design build projects across North America for large and mid-size construction. May manage technical employees, work planning, technical design management and oversight, project delivery, quality management, contract administration, change management, and risk management. This position can be based in any US location and will require the ability to travel either regionally or nationally as needed.

Contribute to initiatives to help advance our project design, operations, and business development

Your Capabilities and Credentials
Experience with APD projects across a region or nationally
Experience with the role of deputy design manager, design manager, and or quality manager on APD projects
Experience leading the design and construction support of complex transportation projects
Experience in the preparation of presentations utilizing PowerPoint
Experience developing, negotiating, and managing project scopes, schedules, and budgets
Business development and marketing skills experience required
Ability to lead, motivate, mentor, and develop a team of technical and professional staff
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues in a dynamic and energetic environment
Education and Experience
Minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressive engineering and project management experience on large transportation projects, including at least three APD projects
Completion of a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree at an accredited institution
Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensed or ability to get within 6 months, and the ability to get licensed in states as needed to support the assigned pursuit
PMP is preferred

Your Opportunity
We are seeking a Hydrogeologist to support our expanding business in Florida and throughout the Gulf Region. The position will also provide hydrogeology support to the Water Resources Business Line. This position is based out of Stantec's West Palm Beach office. The Hydrogeologist will report to a Hydrogeologist Team Leader and will be responsible for designing, supporting, and executing hydrogeological investigations for dewatering, water supply, and aquifer recharge studies for water supply clients. This candidate also will be responsible for leading a large capacity production well design and construction projects. The successful candidate should have a background in drilling groundwater production wells, familiar with deep injection well construction, ability to oversee and support groundwater flow modeling, field investigations, conduct aquifer performance tests, project management, and technical report writing. This position interacts with both internal and external clients in field and office settings. The position requires travel to sites, primarily in the central Florida area. Your Key Responsibilities

Develop new well designs for groundwater monitoring and groundwater production.
Design field investigations in support of hydrogeology studies including drilling, well construction, and testing oversight; groundwater sampling; and water level monitoring.

Prepare and deliver presentations of hydrogeologic investigations to internal and external clients.
Ability to mentor junior staff and provide input to improve hydrogeologic interpretations or client deliverables.

Excellent communication skills: verbal, business writing, electronic communications, and presentations (record of publications, project reports, and/or public presentations will be requested).

Minimum of an B.S. (M.S. preferred) in Hydrogeology/Geology/Geochemistry or related field is required.

Project Management
Responsible for the management of transportation design projects for FDOT, Florida's Turnpike Enterprise, counties, and municipalities.
Direct and/or develop project design documentation, including typical section packages, pavement design reports, design exceptions and variations, and specifications.

AECOM has an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Technician to join our Fort Lauderdale Remediation team. You will work on a diverse range of projects delivering remediation system solutions to our key clients.
The successful candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively with members of the project team, clients, site personnel and office management, and work both independently and as part of a project team. The following locations will also be considered: Tampa; West Palm Beach; and Miami. Your Impact
+ Design and deliver overhead and underground electric distribution projects (4 kV-35 kV), acting as the technical lead on medium-complexity work packages.
+ Provide engineering calculations, construction packages, and field support while coordinating with project managers, drafters, and client utilities.
+ Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
+ Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
+ BSEE (or equivalent experience)
+ Solid understanding of OH and UG distribution design
+ CAD Software Experience.
+ 4 - 10 years in distribution engineering.
+ Strong background in both overhead (OH) and underground (UG) distribution design.
+ Proven ability to independently handle feeder-level OH and UG projects from scoping through Issued-for-Construction (IFC) with minimal oversight.
+ Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ EIT or PE (or progress toward)
+ Utility standards experience (e.g., Duke, FPL, PG&E, TECO)

Your Opportunity
We are seeking a Hydrogeologist to support our expanding business in Florida and throughout the Gulf Region. The position will also provide hydrogeology support to the Water Resources Business Line. This position is based out of Stantec's West Palm Beach office. The Hydrogeologist will report to a Hydrogeologist Team Leader and will be responsible for designing, supporting, and executing hydrogeological investigations for dewatering, water supply, and aquifer recharge studies for water supply clients. This candidate also will be responsible for leading a large capacity production well design and construction projects. The successful candidate should have a background in drilling groundwater production wells, familiar with deep injection well construction, ability to oversee and support groundwater flow modeling, field investigations, conduct aquifer performance tests, project management, and technical report writing. This position interacts with both internal and external clients in field and office settings. The position requires travel to sites, primarily in the central Florida area. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills are necessary for the position.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Follow safe work practices and adhere to company and client guidelines and policies for planning and executing work in a safe manner.
- Develop new well designs for groundwater monitoring and groundwater production.
- Design field investigations in support of hydrogeology studies including drilling, well construction, and testing oversight; groundwater sampling; and water level monitoring.
- Prepare technical reports documenting field investigations and analytical results.
- Prepare and deliver presentations of hydrogeologic investigations to internal and external clients.
- Ability to mentor junior staff and provide input to improve hydrogeologic interpretations or client deliverables.
- Assist project managers with developing project budgets, determining project scope, and establishing project schedules.
- Excellent communication skills: verbal, business writing, electronic communications, and presentations (record of publications, project reports, and/or public presentations will be requested).
- Ability to work independently and provide a supervisory role in the field at remote sites.
- Must have a good driving record and valid Driver's License.
Education and Experience
- Minimum of an B.S. (M.S. preferred) in Hydrogeology/Geology/Geochemistry or related field is required.
- Experience and/or course work completed in geology, hydrogeology, and production well design and construction, and aquifer test analysis is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of working experience in consulting, mining or similar field requiring regularly using and analyzing hydrogeologic data.
- Existing professional registration in Florida or ability to work towards a professional registration (PG).
