Your Opportunity:
The Grid Integration Specialist (Integration Specialist) will act as a subject matter expert within the Policy & Regulatory team (Policy & Regulatory) in delivering exceptional market research, regulatory knowledge and advising, and comprehensive understanding of North American interconnection requirements and grid integration processes to support the Policy & Regulatory, and MTC teams' energy clients. To achieve this the Integration Specialist will focus on Independent Power Producers, large load customers, utilities, public utility commissions and regulatory authorities, FERC, and industrial market and energy research. The Integration Specialist will be responsible for executing the delivery of client interconnection applications through initial project scoping, application preparation, interface and management of interconnection deliverables, regulatory strategy, and portfolio strategy. Your Key Responsibilities:
* Work alongside the Practice Leader, Policy & Regulatory as well as members of the MTC team to implement the strategic direction and impact of the Policy & Regulatory group across markets, including:

* Provide policy interpretation and guidance and regulatory support to contribute to program and framework development for utility, industrial and water sector clients.
* Advise on regulatory decisions and interpretation of permissibility of technologies, market rules, and project development optionality for energy clients.
* Conduct benchmarking and research-based advisory services through publicly accessible public utility commission or regulator databases.
* Support the planning and execution activities of the Policy & Regulatory expansion strategy within the MTC business across energy, water, and industrial sectors engaging with key internal and external stakeholders.

Your Capabilities & Credentials:
* Direct experience facilitating and driving utility interconnection application projects from either the utility or interconnection customer perspective.
* Proficient experience in policy and regulatory analysis, including assessing policy drivers and their impacts to project development across energy and industrial sectors.
* Detailed understanding of electrical utility industry and other energy-focused and energy-intensive organizations operations including but not limited to, natural gas, heavy industrial, or water sectors.
* Experience managing and producing critical, regulatory-grade documents and consulting services to withstand scrutiny from C-Suite/Senior Executives, Investors, and Regulatory/Agency stakeholders.
* A highly intelligent contributor with superb communication and interpersonal skills who prioritizes the development of trust and authenticity among their team.

Education and Experience:
* Minimum of 7 years of energy industry experience related to leading projects with utilities, regulatory agencies, and/or project developers.
* Relevant Degree in Business, Economics or Engineering.
* History of leading interconnection applications through utility and regulatory processing including application preparation and completeness, identifying schedule and cost risks during application processes, identifying areas where regulatory compliance or interpretation is required, and driving for the best project outcomes for both utilities and project developers.
* Direct familiarity with the Large Generating Interconnection Procedures (LGIP) in the United States and/or Customer Interconnection Requirements across multiple jurisdictions in Canada is considered a strong asset.
* Ability to translate advanced engineering and technical considerations into regulatory grade or business development quality documentation to justify capital expenditure and investment.
* Advanced industry certifications for project management, policy development, or economics are considered an asset.

**Job Description**
As a Traffic/ITS Engineering Leader, the right candidate will lead traffic engineering projects while driving business development efforts with municipal and county agencies in the DFW area. They will build client relationships, identify opportunities, and develop pursuit strategies to expand AECOM's regional presence. On the technical side, they will oversee traffic operations analysis, signal design, ITS planning, traffic modeling, safety studies, multimodal corridor planning, and mentor junior staff.
The ideal candidate has strong industry connections, a proven ability to secure and manage municipal transportation projects, and excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
+ Build and expand relationships with municipal and regional agencies to identify near- and long-term traffic engineering and planning opportunities.
+ Lead pursuit strategies, including go/no-go decisions, client outreach, and proposal development.
+ Act as a trusted advisor to municipal clients, anticipating needs and positioning AECOM for future work.
+ Represent AECOM at industry events to enhance visibility and market presence.
+ Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
+ Mentor early-career staff, fostering technical development and quality output.
+ Serve as the primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with budgets, schedules, and quality standards.

+ Serve as technical mentor on traffic engineering projects, overseeing analyses, designs, and implementation efforts.
+ Oversee or contribute to traffic signal designs, ITS layouts, corridor studies, and related plans.
+ Review technical reports and designs for quality, accuracy, and client standards.
**Qualifications**
Minimum Requirements:
+ BA/BS in Civil Engineering or related field + 12 years of relevant traffic engineering experience, OR demonstrated equivalency of experience and education.
+ Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Direct related experience with municipal agencies such as city and county agencies.
+ Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of hire, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
+ Active engagement and proven leadership in professional organizations such as the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE), ITS America (Intelligent Transportation Society), or the Transportation Research Board (TRB), demonstrating strong industry connections essential for business development and staying current on ITS/TSMO best practices.
+ Strong background in municipal traffic engineering, including project delivery for local cities, counties, and transportation agencies.
+ Proven track record in business development, client relationship management, and successful pursuit of municipal transportation work.
+ Proficiency with traffic engineering and modeling software (MicroStation, SignCAD, Synchro, SimTraffic, VISSIM, HCS, or similar).
+ Experience preparing traffic impact analyses, signal timing and design, ITS concepts, signing/striping, and safety evaluations.
+ Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
+ Experience managing traffic engineering design and/or planning projects throughout the project lifecycle including developing scopes, schedules, budgets.
+ Experience developing and implementing business development strategies for municipal accounts.
+ Experience preparing technical scopes, fee estimates, and proposals.
+ Familiarity with multimodal planning, complete streets design, and emerging mobility technologies.
+ Experience coordinating with MPOs, transit agencies, and regional planning organizations.

Reporting to the Managing Counsel for Infrastructure/Buildings, you will play a key role within the company's Risk Management group, contributing significantly to a wide variety of legal and business matters that impact the corporation. As Corporate Counsel, you will be viewed as a leader within the organization regarding ethics and integrity, upholding the highest standards of personal conduct, supported by transparent and honest communication. The role encompasses a diverse range of legal services, making for an engaging and varied legal practice.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Managing complex litigation matters, including those involving professional liability claims, general civil litigation, and professional disciplinary proceedings.
- Taking primary responsibility for the review, negotiation, internal coordination, and closeout of various professional service and construction agreements. This involves assisting with the drafting, negotiation, and approval of a wide array of complex contracts.
- Providing general legal advice, support, and training to business units in relation to operational and ethics-related matters.
- Handling routine legal matters as required, such as responding to subpoenas, public records requests, potential claims, and emerging issues.
- Providing support in commercial collections and matters related to mergers and acquisitions.
- Consulting and providing support to other Stantec lawyers and internal support teams when necessary.
- Proactively managing and supervising external counsel and associated budgets to facilitate the above activities.
- Serving as the main point of contact and advisor for a broad range of internal constituents across multiple jurisdictions, including project staff, project managers, local business team leaders, and senior leadership.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with a strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Experience supporting Design Professionals would be considered an asset for this position.
- Substantial experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry, including managing complex commercial litigation (such as errors and omissions, professional negligence, and construction defects) and sophisticated contract work, including design/build agreements, joint ventures, and professional services agreements.
- Triage and ability to prioritize and successfully manage multiple competing demands simultaneously.
- Capacity to balance legal and business needs, providing timely and value-added advice to the business.
- Above all, the ability to maintain a high standard of respect and integrity, while working alongside peers/colleagues.
Education and Experience
- Possession of a Juris Doctorate or equivalent degree, with admission to the bar in the United States.
- A minimum of 7 to 10 years of relevant experience gained either at a law firm or in-house.
- Occasional travel within the United States and Canada is required, requiring a valid passport.
- A valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record are required.

SUMMARY
Responsible for managing one or more aviation projects, including responsibility for scope, schedule and budget adherence in accordance with the written project documents and established policies and procedures. Project Managers will be responsible for projects from Business Case through Closeout.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Review and concur in the proposed settlement of change orders, claims, and revisions to the design and/or construction scope, schedule and budget.
Assist DFW-DCC as requested in the development of RFQ's and RFP's and provide support as requested during the procurement process.
Lead (or approve) the negotiation of design and construction phase services, consultant fees and change orders, provide documentation and recommend acceptance by DFW-DCC.
Work closely with the Construction Manager to ensure projects are successful and in line with DFW goals and objectives.

* BA/BS + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
* Must possess a valid Class C driver's license and be able to obtain a certification to drive in DFW's AOA movement area.

Preferred Experience:

Experience leading a multi-disciplinary cost management team across several concurrent projects.
Experience working directly with clients in receiving instructions, preparing and negotiating proposals, and delivering work product.
