Provides on-site support, training, and communication regarding the reprocessing of surgical instruments and trays to contracted facilities in compliance with the Department of Health, TJC, OSHA, CDC, AAMI and AORN standards and facilities goals and policies. Coordinates and manages day-to-day operations of SPD employees.
The set hours for this position are for 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm Monday through Friday.
Duties
Oversees and supports daily operations of all activities that relate to the reprocessing of reusable medical supplies and instrumentation including decontamination, cleaning, assembly, wrapping, sterilization, and storage processes within all set professional standards and regulations. Ensures proper operational procedures are followed by all members of the IMS team.
Assumes responsibility, in collaboration with IMS SPD manager, for scheduling new IMS employee orientation, on-the-job training, in-service education and IMS or facility quality assurance programs when needed.
Understands and promotes concepts of the Lean work environment.
Communicates in a professional manner both verbally and in writing to all hospital staff and company employees.

Required Experience
A minimum of three years Sterile Processing Department experience required including at least one year in an SPD leadership position
Computer Skills
Strong computer skills required including a working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel. Experience with an instrument tracking system preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Active certification in sterile processing/central sterile via CBSPD or IAHCSMM required. If not certified at point of hire, it must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
If assigned to travel, must maintain valid driver's license, vehicle insurance and be available to operate a vehicle as needed to meet travel requirements.
Other Skills and Abilities
Must have a good working knowledge of Instruments, the operation/workings of the OR and be able to readily understand their issues and requests. Be able to speak the language of the OR.
Ability to act as a resource for staff in both SPD and OR regarding identification and assembly of specialty instrument trays.
Ability to train in all procedures regarding SPD responsibilities.
Ability to schedule and maintain department productivity in order to provide necessary services within the set IMS budget for overtime.

The Maintenance & Facilities Technician is charged with maintaining all physical utilities and facility infrastructure to ensure seamless Operations. Furthermore, this role entails supporting the installation, commissioning, and validation of new facility and production equipment to meet the evolving needs of STERIS facilities. The Maintenance & Facilities Technician is entrusted with both preventative and corrective maintenance on all facility systems encompassing structural, mechanical, electrical, utilities, life safety, and plumbing. The role requires diligence and attention to detail to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all assigned systems.
Duties
Ensure adherence to 29 CFR 1910 OSHA General Industrial Safety Standards and 29 CFR 1926 Construction Safety Standards for facilities services staff and supervised contracted service personnel.
Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance on machines, equipment, plant facilities, and grounds. This includes oversight of steam boilers, HVAC systems, electrical systems, water treatment systems, and other utility systems to assure uninterrupted operation and production capabilities. Can be available to respond to maintenance calls off shift if assistance is needed and must be available for overtime as needed. Acts as a back-up in the absence of the Senior Maintenance and Facilities Technician or Supervisor.
Exhibit an internal auditor's mindset: regularly monitoring and evaluating systems and processes to assure optimum quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. This includes problem-solving operational issues, testing equipment, assisting with the development and execution of plans, and providing valuable input on maintenance issues.
Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair all systems as needed to maintain Operations, alongside assisting and overseeing contractors and service vendors performing contracted work.

Duties & Responsibilities:
* Manage the total network associated with each identified account.

* Segment and prioritize accounts as well as identify key players within the accounts.
* Achieve pre-determined quarterly growth targets across a total network of designated Key Accounts. Quarterly revenue growth will be measured as total revenue increase versus the baseline of historic revenue production within designated accounts in their assigned region.

* Awareness of oncology pathways and EHR systems within accounts, with tactical knowledge and experience with commercial penetration of each pathway or system

Position Summary:
As the Senior Manager, Professional Education (US), you will be instrumental in creating strategic training initiatives that ensure the safe and effective use of J&J Neurovascular products. Provides on-site support, training, and communication regarding the reprocessing of surgical instruments and trays to contracted facilities in compliance with the Department of Health, TJC, OSHA, CDC, AAMI and AORN standards and facilities goals and policies. Coordinates and manages day-to-day operations of SPD employees.
Duties
Oversees and supports daily operations of all activities that relate to the reprocessing of reusable medical supplies and instrumentation including decontamination, cleaning, assembly, wrapping, sterilization, and storage processes within all set professional standards and regulations. Ensures proper operational procedures are followed by all members of the IMS team.
Assumes responsibility, in collaboration with IMS SPD manager, for scheduling new IMS employee orientation, on-the-job training, in-service education and IMS or facility quality assurance programs when needed.
Understands and promotes concepts of the Lean work environment.
Communicates in a professional manner both verbally and in writing to all hospital staff and company employees.
Exhibits professional behavior in all telephone and electronic communications.
Represents IMS, self and profession positively in all public arenas.
Practices within the scope of certification and job description.
Supports and adheres to IMS policies and procedures and supports policies and procedures of facility.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Active certification in sterile processing/central sterile via CBSPD or IAHCSMM required. If not certified at point of hire, it must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
If assigned to travel, must maintain valid driver's license, vehicle insurance and be available to operate a vehicle as needed to meet travel requirements.
Other Skills and Abilities
Must have a good working knowledge of Instruments, the operation/workings of the OR and be able to readily understand their issues and requests. Be able to speak the language of the OR.
Ability to act as a resource for staff in both SPD and OR regarding identification and assembly of specialty instrument trays.
Ability to train in all procedures regarding SPD responsibilities.
Ability to schedule and maintain department productivity in order to provide necessary services within the set IMS budget for overtime.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Other Qualifications
Ability to work daily in a fast- paced, high-pressure Healthcare Services environment.
Ability to perform tasks simultaneously while maintaining quality and controlling chaos.
Ability to work alternate shifts as necessary.
