The Pharmacy SalesConsultant (PSC) is an individual contributor and results-driven account management/sales professional responsible for growing McKesson's portfolio of products and services within independent and long-term care pharmacies in an assigned geographic territory. This highly consultative role requires the ability to lead all interactions with pharmacists in charge and/or business owners positioning McKesson as a trusted, expert partner.
The PSC will develop tailored strategies for each assigned account and prospect, driving the coordinated execution of products and services throughout the sales process. This is a field-based position with daily customer-facing responsibilities and significant travel requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Minimum Requirement:
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business related field or equivalent work experience with an emphasis in sales, marketing, business management, account management or healthcare related field preferred.
Critical Skills:
4+ years of business-to-business field sales or account management experience, preferably in healthcare.
3+ years of proven sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals.

You'll work closely with experienced Sales Representatives and Managers to build your knowledge, skill and comfort with clinical and product knowledge as well as selling styles and techniques. They will serve as your coaches and mentors to share lessons learned for how to build and grow a successful business.
You'll receive training and be expected to study and prepare independently to perform at the highest levels in the operating room, working amongst surgeons and healthcare professionals. The expectations are challenging, yet rewarding.

What you need

The Neuroscience Sales Representative will develop superior product and disease state knowledge that allows them to compliantly engage in in-depth clinical dialogue with healthcare professionals. **Job Responsibilities:**

+ Collaborates with other Neuroscience Sales Specialist-II's on common objectives and sharing of best practices.
+ Accountable for providing timely and accurate administrative management of work hours, sales call data, customer objectives, communication responses, synchronization, sample and expense reporting.

Required Qualifications:
* A minimum of a bachelor's degree
* A valid driver's license and the ability to travel as necessary
* Must reside in close proximity to the geography or be willing to relocate to it
* Minimum of two (2) years of direct selling experience to healthcare professionals in the pharmaceutical, biotech, device or healthcare industry, or large account management, or business to business experience, or recently transitioned from Active Duty Military
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience selling injectable / infused products
* Working knowledge of immunology and/or the Dermatology field
* Experience managing through complex reimbursement issues
* Experience in project oriented selling situations in a high incentive and individual performance culture is preferred, along with a documented successful sales performance (high growth, results vs. plan
* Completion of Management Development course(s)

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$79,000.00 - $127,650.00
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
This position is eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation -120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado -48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington -56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays -13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
