A. General Issues: 1. It is necessary to establish policies and procedures to provide a framework for studentinternships to ensure that a high-quality care for ATS' clients is maintained.
2. It is recognized that students will present with a wide range of experiences and education. To address the wide variety of needed experiences ATS has established a two tier internship. Students working on BA/BS or substance abuse credentialing will shadow, observe, and be supervised. Tier two students will be working on a MA/MSW in human services field and will experience supervised clinical, clinically independent activities, and supervision.
3. The procedures that follow are designed to encompass this range.
B. Responsibilities of ATS:
1. Prior to a student being accepted as part of the treatment team at ATS, s/he will interview with the designated supervisor to ensure mutual compatibility. This will be communicated to the sending school as well as the clinical director. (Both tiers)
2. Each student will meet with the Personnel Manager who will review the liability insurance information. Each student is covered by ATS' liability insurance. (Both Tiers)
3. Each student will be assigned a supervisor, who has the credentials and capacity to provide adequate supervision and instruction that meets the sending school's requirements. (Both tiers)
4. ATS will ensure the student abides by all federal confidentiality laws. Each student will be given an orientation by his or her supervisor on these laws, as well as a copy of the laws for them read and to sign off on as having read them. (Both Tiers)
5. Students of both tiers will provide lien information for Michigan Department of Corrections Lien Check when applicable.
6. Tier Two students will complete a clinical application to Michigan Behavioral Care Network (MBCN)
C. Clinical Practicum/Studentship Criteria
In compliance with the Michigan Behavioral Care Network (MBCN) Student Intern Policy, at the very least, all students are to engage in Clinical Readiness

To learn and understand Food and Beverage operations at a ballpark venue. Meeting with vendors for ordering, stocking stands and putting away daily orders, and management of employees during games.
Learn how to effectively set up, staff, and coordinate food and beverage for all aspects of games, events, and group outings.
To learn and gain exposure to the management of baseball food and beverage by helping to oversee game day operations of the entire stadium.
To learn and gain understanding of the planning process, including the coordination and execution of baseball and non-baseball events such as concerts and other corporate events.
To gain an understanding of dealing with customer issues during games, along with the ability to think quickly on issues that happen during games/events.
To learn and understand the importance of Guest Services relative to client satisfaction by coordinating and being involved with internal Guest Service initiatives and programs.
To gain an understanding of the importance and attention to detail on all tasks and projects assigned for the season. To gain an understanding of the menu planning and selection process.
To understand the importance of image and appearance and how it directly impacts guest satisfaction, both in facility appearance and food presentation.
Interns will also assist with various aspects of operating our ballpark, such as facility events like concerts, high school and college baseball games, etc.
Education Requirements and Expectations:
Must be a College or University Junior or Senior within at least 3 semesters of graduation.
Must be pursuing a degree in Hospitality, Business Management, or Event Management.
Must need an internship for academic credit.
Must be available to participate full-time, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Non-event days are generally M-F 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Event days, the day generally begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends after the event.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Must be available no later than May 6th until approximately September

We are seeking passionate and creative Philanthropy Interns who embody our core values and are committed to nurturing young artists. Interns in the Philanthropy office will be immersed in a highly successful, donor-centric stewardship operation that helps to deliver exceptional stewardship and engaging events for our generous donors during the busy summer months while fully immersing yourself in the unique environment that only a summer camp can offer. The Intern will help to plan Philanthropy live and virtual events, as well as oversee the collection and collation of thank you letters from scholarship recipients. Philanthropy front desk duties will be shared by interns as well. Work hours will be approximately 40 hours a week; flexible hours are required given evening and weekend Philanthropy activities, including events

Stewarding over 3000 scholarship and general thank you letters written by students attending the Interlochen Arts Camp by assisting the Associate Director of Stewardship and Events with coordination of thank you letters from recipients.
Selecting student quotes from thank you letters, and creating new photo and video content to add to a Stewardship Content Folder.
Assisting with live and virtual introductions between scholarship recipients and their donors, accompanied by a Major Gift Officer.
Assist the Associate Director of Stewardship and Events with event planning, preparation and coordination.
Assisting with administrative data entry, projects, and stewardship efforts as assigned by Philanthropy Staff.
Assist with coverage at the Philanthropy front desk as needed.
