As an intern, you will be exposed to various aspects of power plant operations, including plant equipment, safety procedures, environmental compliance, and energy production processes. You will be expected to support various projects as determined by department managers. Here's a look at the projects planned during this internship period: Drawing database updates - Coordinate with plant operations and maintenance personnel to verify as-built configurations and update plant documentation with redlines. Revise drawings in CAD or work with external engineering resources to ensure updates reflect as-built field conditions. Research future year Capital Expenditures - Work with plant operations personnel and the plant engineer to develop job scopes and obtain budgetary vendor bids for owner considerations in the following year. Platform, walkways, and enclosure upgrades- Coordinate with the plant engineer and selected vendors to ensure the quality construction of platform upgrades, walkway improvements, and equipment enclosures across the site.
