Position Summary: Sign-on bonus of $1000.00 paid at 90 days worked. As a Metal Processing Fabrication Team Member will be responsible for set up and operation of various metal fabricating machines such as brakes, rolls, shears, saws, and presses, to cut, bend, straighten and form metal plates, sheets, and structural shapes according to blueprints and specifications. Essential Responsibilities: Set up and operation of metal fabricating machines Selects, positions, and secures dies, blades, cutters, and fixtures onto the machine, using rule, square, shims, templates, hand tools, and built-in gauges Positions and clamps, stop, guides, and turntables Adjusts controls to set and regulate machining factors, such as pressure and depth of ram stroke, adjustment rolls, blade angle, and machine speed Locates and marks bending or cutting lines and reference points on work piece Positions work piece against stops and guides, or aligns layout marks with dies or cutting blades Start and observe machine operation to reposition work piece, change dies, or adjust machine settings for successive passes Inspect or measure work for accuracy May operate machines to fabricate nonmetallic materials, such as composites or plastics Manually load/unload raw sheet steel on and off worktables Accurately complete proper paperwork as required Maintain the cleanliness of machines and the work area organized Shift: 2 nd shift 4 PM- 2:30 AM M-F every other Saturday Sign-on bonus of $1000.00 paid at 90 days worked. Qualifications Requirements: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience including the ability to apply math (fractions, ratios, measurements) and to read, comprehend, and convert instruction manuals/diagrams into work. Demonstrated proficiency in metal fabrication machining, assembly, and/or high-volume manufacturing. Working knowledge of Metric and English measurement systems with the ability to perform conversions.
