The Team Member (TM.) role supports all operational, front-end, freight, and merchandising processes and helps maintain an active selling culture by ensuring that all processes are held to documented company standards designed to drive sales. Key Roles & Responsibilities: The TM maintains a positive attitude, works with a sense of urgency, and executes all company directives, policies, and procedures accurately, thoroughly, and in a timely manner. The TM contributes to a customer-focused environment while providing excellent customer service. The Team Member performs cashier and front-end duties as assigned, ensuring transactions are completed accurately and efficiently while providing customers with a positive shopping experience. The Team Member unloads, processes, and stocks freight within the correct location while following all store merchandising guidelines. TM performs Store recovery, conditioning, and housekeeping tasks as assigned inside and outside the building. The TM completes the daily/weekly workload and tasks as assigned and ensures all tasks are completed efficiently and on-time. The TM actively impacts and participates in the areas of customer satisfaction, inventory control/shrink, safety, and loss prevention so the store will operate effectively and profitably. All other duties are based on business needs. Qualifications & Competencies: At least 18 years old. High School Diploma/Equivalent. Communicates clearly and concisely with excellent verbal and comprehension skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and some holidays. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. or team lift 100 lbs. Reliable and trustworthy with ethical and honest behavior.
