    Catering and Vending Team Members represent Bear's Restaurant Group in a variety of off-site settings, both public and private events. Team members are tasked with providing exceptional customer service. Team members are responsible for time-management, professional interaction with customers, and excellent food service at events. Catering and vending team members must have the ability to travel to Bear's Smokehouse locations in Windsor, South Windsor, Hartford, and New Haven, CT. Primary Job Responsibilities: Follow proper company preparation standards to portion and prepare menu items based on guest choice Practice safe food handling and cleanliness at all times. Have strong menu knowledge and be able to explain menu items and terms and provide suggestions to guests when asked Directly communicate and interact with guests in a friendly manner, at respective volume & handle crowds and put guests at ease Communicate with other team members to ensure order accuracy and guest satisfaction Maintain a clean and organized work station at all times inclusive of the maintaining the catering storage pod and supplies properly. Perform catering deliveries in a timely manner Assist with service on Bear's Food Trucks at various locations Accurately input orders into POS, handle money, make change, and process credit card transactions, when applicable Attend and participate in catering team meetings and trainings Communicate with Catering Manager and Catering Administrator in a timely manner Job Requirements: Must be 18 years of age and candidate must be able to: Provide proof of a valid driver's license and personal insurance per company requirements. Pass a motor vehicle record check. Adhere to company policies regarding safe driving and maintain a clean driving record during the course of employment. Maintain a high degree of pace and intensity for an extended period of time while performing with quality and accuracy. Practice safe food handling at all times. Expected Hours: This is an on-demand position and scheduling is based on individual staff members availability as it relates to services booked though the catering department. While the catering department does fully operate year round, the Bear's Smokehouse catering peak season typically extends from April to October. During this peak season, we generally experience an influx in services booked through the catering department, which often results in a greater demand for catering staff during that time period. Solicits necessary additional clinical information if needed from clinical staff. Ensures that all patient work sheets, requisitions, and prior exams/studies and reports are loaded into the information system and available, along with the proper clinical information for the Radiologist; locates any missing paperwork. * Triages and coordinates phone calls for the Radiologists. Ensures efficiency and timeliness when responding to outside inquiries. Handles incoming requests/issues in a way that avoids and minimizes interruptions to the Radiologists' workflow. STATUS: Reports to Campus Services Maintenance Supervisor ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: ● Manage maintenance workshop equipment and inventory, ensuring availability of campus maintenance supplies and mission-aligned purchasing ● Complete work orders and maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities (including parts inventory and equipment service history). ● Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in a timely manner. ● Perform routine maintenance of equipment and building systems ● Operate transport and grounds maintenance vehicles, hand and power tools safely, effectively and in compliance with HVA written policies ● Perform regular preventive maintenance on Campus vehicles and equipment ● Serve as occasional first-responder for after-hours or weekend emergency mechanical or maintenance issues on campus (based on team shift schedules) ● Perform other related seasonal or cross-functional duties as assigned by the Campus Maintenance Supervisor QUALIFICATIONS: ● Experience in a range of relevant areas: mechanics, plumbing, carpentry, and electric ● Basic computer skills for work order tracking, inventory management. ● Proven experience in equipment maintenance and repair ● Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail. ● Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively, courteously and professionally with colleagues, supervisors and visitors ● A commitment to safety and a focus on operations sustainability. ● Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and working in various weather conditions. Must have the ability to run medium subcompact tractors and equipment (small to medium tractors, snow blowers, lawn mowers, chain saws). ● Valid driver's license and reliable transportation ● Willingness and ability to learn to meet the changing requirements of the job
