This is a 1099 Contract position. Call volume varies but is typically between 2-5 calls per day. Pay is based on the number of calls completed. Pay starts at $35 per ticket.
You will be completing hardware part replacements for Dell and Lenovo warranty services.
Pay period -every Friday after the first week of completing tickets.
You must have a reliable form of transportation to run these calls.
You must have access to a computer and the internet to log onto your portal.
Tickets are run Monday through Friday. You must be able to log into your tech portal every workday by 9 am to accept, code (update status), and map out your calls.
You will be responsible for contacting your customers and confirming a window to go onsite to complete the service.

Serves as an ATSS (SSC Coordinator), responsible for performing a variety of functions directly related to the operation of the NAS.
Performs work of broad scope and complexity with a high degree of independence. Incumbent provides the highest organizational level of technical support associated with analyzing, designing, developing, installing, repairing, fabricating, maintaining, modifying, or evaluating the most complex systems for which the FAA is responsible.
Incumbent is recognized as the technical expert on legacy and newly developed systems within a large facility or multiple facilities over a large geographical area. Work requires maintaining technical expertise on complex systems and/or emerging technology, systems interrelationships and management of the NAS.
Responsibilities include the integration, restoration, testing and evaluation of new advanced service or service components, hardware/software systems and processes. Performs a variety of functions directly relating to the operation of the NAS. Focus is on availability and reliability of the services and projects provided to the users of the NAS. Serves as the principal technical specialist, a project manager. on the major projects and/or program areas, resolving unique technical problems without managerial intervention, providing coordination and suggesting solutions.
Works within established policies and procedures to select the most effective and efficient approach or to develop new solutions. Carries out work in accordance with overall plans and objectives of the organization, resolving problems a they arise and making adjustments as necessary to deal with unanticipated situations and organizational needs. This work includes responsibility for evaluating diagnostic data from multiple systems and are integrated to support a network of services or service products. Can be called upon to assist with repair and/or restore service or systems, providing guidance on the availability of backup systems, and to upward report the status of critical events.
Evaluation of this data is used for correcting deficiencies on Contractor Acceptance Inspection (CAI) or Joint Acceptance Inspection (JAI), FPIP, FSEP, Redline Drawings, Peabody and DMT reports dealing with LCMs, LADs, LEMs and resolving event based certification issues necessary for the timely restoration of equipment, systems/services with the NAS. Monitors other employees as a project or team leader.
Responsible for all aspects of SSC projects from initial planning, drawing and specifications review, implementation, Joint Acceptance Inspection, and disposition of assets. Acts as SSC point of contact for all projects completed locally or by outside contractors.
Identifies requirements (staffing funs, materials, and equipment) to accomplish projects and tracks the use of project resources. Provides training, mentoring, guidance and advice to FAA employees, contractors, and other organizations as needed. Uses technical expertise and understanding of user and stakeholder needs to prioritize SSC workload. Integrates Operational Risk Management (ORM) into all planned activities ensuring that all customers and users of services are included and involved in implementation and planning.
Fully understands and utilizes proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and personal safety practices when engaged in all restoration and maintenance activities helping to set the example of safe work practices for others in the organization.
Provides training, mentoring, guidance and advice to other employees, technicians, and trainees regarding difficult technical or operational issues. Can be called upon to assist with repair and/or restore service or systems, providing guidance on the availability of backup systems, and up to upward report the status of critical events.

Primary Purpose:
To review, analyze and document software requirements and to lead the business analysis phase for projects.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities:
Leads the requirements management efforts for projects; takes ownership of the business analysis role throughout the project. Identifies and understands stakeholders; initiates and facilitates meetings and discussions with stakeholders as appropriate. Works with project managers, project requestors, operations, business representatives, IT representatives and clients to ensure complete understanding of software requirements. Produces project requirements documentation, including written documents, process diagrams, report mock-ups, wire frames and other documentation as required using standard templates. Meets deadlines and manages work to timelines.

Qualifications:
Education & Licensing Bachelor's degree required; major in computer science field preferred. Experience Five (5) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Experience in multi-line claims management processes and system requirements preferred.

ABOUT THE JOB
The Tier 1 Help Desk Technician will provide the initial point of contact for end-users to report all Information Technology related support and maintenance issues within the organization. This position will be responsible for capturing the details of the IT issue, determining whether the issue is hardware or software related, and directing the issue to the proper technician within Helena's Information Technology support structure. In addition, this resource will be responsible for solving the most common technical issues during the first contact with the user. This candidate will also troubleshoot problem areas by telephone, or via e-mail in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end-user assistance where required.
WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE
Receive and respond to calls, emails, live chats and web inquiries from system users.
Log all received issues into our help desk ticketing system (Service Now).
Classify and prioritize incidents.
Provide technical and functional support, resolving 70 percent of tickets during first contact.
Uses judgement to determine when to escalate incidents.
Monitors incidents to identify repetitive issues.
Develops knowledge articles to decrease resolution time.
Collaborates with Tier 2 support to enhance knowledge and improve service level agreements.
Provides excellent customer service to all internal and external customers.
Other work-related duties as assigned by your leader.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Two years' experience supporting hardware and software in a networked environment remotely is required.
Experience in a customer service environment is required.

About the Role

Support basic network tasks, such as configuring workstations for network connectivity, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and assisting with network hardware setup (e.g., switches, routers).
Maintain accurate records of IT assets, support tickets, and procedures, contributing to the IT team's knowledge base.
Track and manage IT hardware and software inventory, ensuring equipment is properly maintained and accounted for.
Follow security protocols and assist in implementing basic security measures, such as applying patches and monitoring for potential vulnerabilities.
