Performs journey-level work on a multitude of plumbing and pipefitting systems for various commercial facilities, including but not limited to the maintenance, repair, remodeling, and installation of those systems. This includes repair and maintenance of restroom fixtures, flushometers, and drain line issues, as well as the maintenance, repair, and sanitizing of Aircraft Potable Water Systems. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Maintains and repairs restroom facilities, plumbing fixtures, HVAC, water coolers, and system piping. Perform preventive, predictive, emergency, and scheduled maintenance tasks. Inspect, monitor, and maintain mechanical and plumbing systems. Clear drain clogs and resolve plumbing issues promptly. Install and repair all restroom assets to include faucets, flush valves, toilets, dispensers, etc. Keep maintenance facility and its equipment always clean and serviceable, report all deficiencies to management. performs maintenance, repair, and replacement of pumps and controls for a variety of sewage lift and de-watering stations Perform HVAC and electrical troubleshooting on various systems. Installs and tests backflow prevention devices on potable water systems. Ability to work rotating shifts, which may include days, afternoons, graveyards, weekends, and holidays. Basic mathematical knowledge for calculating measurements, pipe sizing, flow rates, and cost estimates. Thorough knowledge of local, state, and national plumbing and safety codes. Ability to effectively work independently or within a team environment. QUALIFICATIONS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High school Diploma or GED 5 years of experience in commercial plumbing. Ability to pass TSA/Security Background check. Current Driver License. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Associate degree in mechanical engineering or closely related field Licensed Journeyman or Master Plumber Ability to pass TSA/Security Background check. Industry certification (Plumbing, HVAC, etc.) Current Driver License.
