BIOGRAPHY Warren Bernard Green is the convener and manager of The Brotherhood Collective at Morehouse College; a collaborative, an association, of concerned individuals, groups and organizations coming together to fellowship, meet and learn, exchange, partnership and implement new and progressive concepts and approaches to address the growth and development of African American Men and Boys.He was born in Washington, DC to Gloria and Bernard Green. He is an artist, crafts maker, community activist, spiritualist, business owner and lover of true freedom for all hue-manity. He was educated at the University of the District of Columbia in Chemistry, served as a student leader in the Free South Africa Movement in the US and as student government president for 2 years. After college, he worked as a legislative assistant to D.C. Councilmember John Ray for 5 years, worked at the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies and at Public Technology Inc, the research arm of the National League of Cities and Counties. He has traveled to 4 countries; Kenya, London, Ireland and Moscow, and worked in many progressive and grassroots groups and organizations. Was Executive Director of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Youth Leadership Institute, which developed over 300 black male youth for leadership positions in the Washington, DC Area. As an artist, he has shown his work at many venues and has sold at many art festivals, concerts, conferences and stores. He is the father of 2 beautiful children; a member of Hillside Chapel and Truth Center; Managing Partner of the Black Male Community Empowerment Forum, LLC; owner of DecoArt Manufacturers of Atlanta and a generally well-rounded, positive, spiritually-based African Man/Spirit. He is currently employed at Morehouse College as a Support Services Assistant.
