Usually flexible schedule.
Being trained in all aspects and unfortunately some of the things you have to improvise on your own. Also management needs alot of work done to keep employees up to date and actions taken against employees who don't follow the rules.
Most of my clients.
Could be better. Nobody passes on information and you have to contact each higher ups one by one.
Improve employee and employer relationships instead of always putting the employees on edge instead of offering encouragement.
On my own. I've worked with the public, not with intellectual disabilities for a long time and know how to diffuse certain aspects of the jobs.
They offer stipend for taking on other shifts, but it's added to your paycheck to be taxed. They didn't inform me of that transactionm
The diversity of employees could be better trained and not allowed to do as they wish on their shifts instead of being told Oh yeah we've been dealing with that situation for awhile. If DHS were to catch wind of the situation things might get better or worse.
The clients when they all work together to get everyone on the same page as far as helping with breakfast or lunch duties so it runs like a well oiled machine some days it doesn't happen that way.
