The Adult Services art program, Expressive Outcomes, began in 2004.
In August 2009, CARD® researchers published the first-ever study to document recovery in a large group of individuals with autism.
Anderson introduced the idea of LifeLong Learning℠ in 2010.
Retrospective Analysis of Clinical Records in 38 Cases of Recovery from Autism, published in the Annals of Clinical Psychiatry, earned Doctor Granpeesheh the prestigious American Academy of Clinical Psychiatrists 2011 George Winokur Research Award.
In late 2012, the Thompson Family Foundation and the Children and Families Commission of Orange County provided a catalytic investment to create The Center.
In 2013, the Anderson Athletics program officially titled their team the “Blue Knights.” The athletes received new uniforms with the new name and logo on them.
Public Health Management Corporation (PHMC), a nonprofit public health institute that creates and sustains healthier communities, acquired The Center for Autism on February 4, 2020.
