What you will do
Perform HVAC Control systems programming, troubleshooting, installation, commissioning and preventative maintenance as it is related to mechanical, electrical, and low voltage controls components.
Respond to service and warranty calls using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools as well as a variety of hand tools including electrical testing meters and other electronic testing equipment.
Provide front line technical and repair support through effective communications with Johnson Controls customers.
Provide system repair and or update recommendations and assist in proposing of recommendations to Johnson Controls customers.

How you will do it
Loading Johnson Controls field and network level controller software.
Performing commissioning and system diagnostics for all levels of system controllers as well as end
devices (i.e. Sensors, actuators, etc.) and complete all required commissioning documentation.
Keeps management and JCI contractor or customer informed of job progress and issues.
Calibrates systems requiring basic electronic test equipment.
Completes administrative tasks including but not limited to time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation.
Documents changes and provides information for as-built documentation.
Execute company sponsored as well as personally initiated training to insure the highest level of knowledge and capability are maintained
Engage with customers to fully understand their systems and needs.
Communicates with the JCI contractor or customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site.
Follows all safety standards and attends required safety training. High degree of regard to employee and subcontractor safety.
Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facility is running efficiently to include upselling opportunities.
Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions.
What we look for
Required
Vocational School four year program or an Associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning or similar field plus three years of industry experience or 2+ years experience in servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems in the HVAC industry.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, sequence and applications
Demonstrated technical aptitude in mechanical and electro-mechanical fields

The City of Moorhead is accepting applications for a Golf Course Technician at the beautiful Village Green Golf Course in the Public Works Department. This semi-skilled position performs intermediate work supervising and participating in preparing and maintaining the public golf course and related facilities, preparing and maintaining records and files and operates snow plowing and ice control equipment during winter months, and related work as required. This position exercises general supervision over assigned staff.
HIRING RANGE: $24.65 to $27.72 ($51,276 - $57,658). Full range goes to $34.93 ($72,669)
Receive an annual pay increase on your anniversary date each year + receive a 6% increase in January of 2026 and 6% increase in January 2027 per the Union contract.
HOURS: Generally Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30 during golf season with rotating weekends. Winter hours are Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm with earlier starts for snow events.
Year-around shared position working spring through fall at the Golf Course approximately 8 months and approximately 4 months in the winter in the Streets Division.

Diagnose and make recommendations on repairs as required.
Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.

Perform additional inspection of trailer to include loose wires, damage, misrouted wires or hoses that may be rubbing on other components and are subject to cause a malfunction or failure and determine if additional safety or service work is required.
Remove accessories, electrical and mechanical equipment, trim or any other components to gain clear access to areas of vehicle needing repair.
Consult immediately with the Shop Foreman if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised.
Repair damaged structural components or replace as requested on work order.
Document all work performed.
Advise Shop Foreman of any problems: parts hold ups, sublet repair needs, or other changes that may affect the promise time.
Ensure that customer's trailers are kept clean.
Keep shop area neat and clean.
Adhere to work schedule and maintain regular attendance.
Performs Wallwork Inc. wide duties as requested by the designated supervisor.

Fargo Trailer Center, a subsidiary company of Wallwork Inc., is currently taking applications for qualified Trailer Technicians to join our team. We pride ourselves in being dependable and delivering expert trailer service to our valued customers. Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, pay $20-$34/hr. + DOE, plus a $2,000 Sign On Bonus.

This position is responsible for repairs to the trailer, including air brakes, electrical systems, and other repairs. Repairs will be made in accordance with factory, dealership, and D.O.T. specifications by performing job tasks using hand and power tools and welders. We are looking for a trailer technician able to work effectively both independently and within a team.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or years' experience required:
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
Technical background preferred
Preferred/Required Skills and Abilities:
Completion of mechanical trade school preferred or a minimum of 2 years trailer technician experience
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information and knowledge of truck trailer repair.
Good judgment and the ability to use hand power tools to operate other machinery safely
Ability to comprehend supervision on any specific job tasks
Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle report required.
Welding and fabrication experience is preferred; however not required
CDL preferred, however not required
Must have own tools and toolbox
Familiar with air brakes, truck and trailer inspections electrical, suspension components replacement and adjustments, wheel-end and hub components
Familiar with bodywork on trailers, air suspension components, hydraulic systems, and framework

No supervisory responsibilities required for this position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITES
Diagnose and make recommendations on repairs as required.
Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and factory standards on all styles of trailers as assigned.
Perform additional inspection of trailer to include loose wires, damage, misrouted wires or hoses that may be rubbing on other components and are subject to cause a malfunction or failure and determine if additional safety or service work is required.
Remove accessories, electrical and mechanical equipment, trim or any other components to gain clear access to areas of vehicle needing repair.
Consult immediately with the Shop Foreman if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised.
Repair damaged structural components or replace as requested on work order.
Document all work performed.
Advise Shop Foreman of any problems: parts hold ups, sublet repair needs, or other changes that may affect the promise time.
Ensure that customer's trailers are kept clean.
Keep shop area neat and clean.
Adhere to work schedule and maintain regular attendance.
Performs Wallwork Inc. wide duties as requested by the designated supervisor.
Upholds Wallwork Inc. ethical standards and demonstrate the behavioral and service expectations as defined in our policies and procedures.

Assists more experienced technicians with a variety of technical and mechanical repairs on a wide variety of vehicles. Scope of Responsibility: The Equipment Technician I performs work on high value equipment where proper preventive maintenance is necessary in order to preserve assets and avoid injuries attributable to equipment failure.
* Follows standard procedures to perform preventative maintenance on vehicles and/or equipment including safety compliance checks, in order to ensure safe and efficient operation.
* Transports and test drives equipment while performing vehicle safety inspections to ensure proper function;
* Diagnoses various equipment and vehicles when malfunctions occur by communicating with onboard computers and/or utilizing other testing devices;
* Confers with experienced technicians on appropriate maintenance or repair procedures;
* Records time, parts, tools and equipment used for maintenance or repairs;
* Completes necessary forms and enters appropriate information into the fleet management system to document tasks performed.
* Assists more experienced technicians with segments of larger repair projects.
