About the Role
The Medical Assistant plays a key role in supporting clinical operations and delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care in an outpatient setting. Key Responsibilities
Clinical Support & Patient Care
Perform clinical duties within the scope of Medical Assistant practice, following applicable regulations, policies, and delegation standards.
Operate diagnostic and clinical support equipment (without test interpretation), including performing EKGs and routine quality control checks.
Collect and process specimens using non‑invasive techniques, venipuncture, or capillary methods.
Administer non‑intravenous medications as directed and assist with wound care, including dressing changes, staple removal from superficial wounds, and culture collection.
Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort, safety, and accurate identification.
Prepare, sterilize, and maintain medical instruments and equipment, including use of an autoclave.
Practice standard infection prevention and control protocols at all times.
Patient Intake & Documentation
Room patients according to organizational policies and clinical workflows.
Accurately and efficiently document patient information and care activities in the electronic medical record.
Conduct telephone and in‑person intake to gather patient information following established guidelines, without independent clinical judgment.
Coordinate patient care activities as directed by providers and in accordance with organizational standards.
Clinic Operations & Support
Organize, clean, and stock exam and treatment rooms to ensure readiness for patient care.
Support daily clinic operations by maintaining supplies, equipment readiness, and a safe clinical environment.
Follow Standard Delegation of Orders (SDO) and other clinical protocols consistently.
Provide courteous, respectful, and professional interactions with patients, families, and team members.
Maintain strict patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and privacy standards.
Perform other related duties as assigned to support clinic operations.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Current nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA), or ability to obtain certification within 180 days of hire
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved American Heart Association Training Center or Military Training Network, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (intermediate Excel skills preferred)
Knowledge of medical terminology
Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations
Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Medicare Advantage patient populations
Experience using electronic health record systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks)
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish

Summary
Our company has an immediate opening for Asphalt Plant Groundsman in Vero Beach, Fl. The Asphalt Plant Groundsman supports the daily operations of the asphalt plant by performing general labor tasks, routine maintenance, and housekeeping duties to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. This role is essential in assisting plant operators and maintenance staff to keep operations running smoothly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Perform general housekeeping and grounds maintenance around the plant, including sweeping, shoveling, raking, and cleaning up debris.
Assist with routine maintenance and repairs on plant equipment as directed.
Monitor and maintain cleanliness of material stockpiles, walkways, and work areas to ensure safe operations.
Operate small tools and light equipment as needed.
Assist with loading/unloading materials and supplies.
Follow all company and OSHA safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
Report any safety hazards, equipment issues, or operational concerns to the Plant Foreman or Plant Manager immediately.
Provide general labor support to plant operators and mechanics as required.
Other duties as assigned per supervisor.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a construction, asphalt, or industrial environment preferred but not required; willing to train.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and around heavy equipment.
Physically able to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Commitment to workplace safety and following established safety protocols.
Ability to work as part of a team and follow direction from supervisors.
Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
Will be subject to drug and physical test and background check.

Easterseals Florida is seeking a skilled and compassionate Infant Toddler Developmental Specialist (ITDS) Evaluator to conduct developmental evaluations for infants and toddlers (birth to age three) referred to the Early Steps program under IDEA Part C. This role plays a critical part in helping families access the early intervention services their child needs to thrive.
What You'll Be Doing
Conduct developmental evaluations using the Battelle Developmental Inventory (BDI-2) or other approved tools to determine Early Steps eligibility
Participate as a member of the multi-disciplinary evaluation team and follow eligibility criteria outlined in the Early Steps Program Plan and Operations Guide (PHOG)
Serve as a participating member of each child's Individualized Family Support Plan (IFSP) Team
