Job Description
Job duties include:
Conducts legal and factual research into statutes, cases, and records using a variety of legal resources; verifies citations in legal memoranda and briefs; summarizes legal documents.
Provides administrative assistance for legal proceedings; procures and prepares evidence, and assists with presentation of evidence utilizing a variety of technologies; drafts/compiles legal documents; assists in preparing case files, jury trials, hearings and post-trial dispositions; maintains calendars and lists for hearings, dockets, and courts; completes general correspondence and assists in courtroom proceedings by transcribing court oral orders; copies, files, and distributes documents.
Assists with investigation and review of cases; may assist attorneys in analyzing witness testimony by corroborating testimony through researching documentation, depositions, and court records.
Prepares jury instructions, coordinates witness arrangements, prepares exhibits, copies audio/video taped evidence, delivers and/or retrieves equipment to/from courtroom; responds to inquiries and provides information; notifies/informs parties, witnesses, and attorneys of status of case and explains various legal programs, policies, procedures, and ramifications.

Minimum Job Requirements:
Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies, Business Administration, Public Administration, Office Administration, or related field and one year legal support, including legal research support experience are required. May require KS/MO driver's license, depending on department or agency.
Johnson County Government requires reference/background screening for all positions. Specified criteria may vary by Department/Agency.
Preferred Job Requirements:
Professional Paralegal Certification is preferred.

* Coordinating escorts and transportation associated with deportation or removal activities.
* Reviewing bond cases to determine status and taking appropriate action to continue, cancel, or breach.
Typing Requirement
In addition to meeting the minimum qualification requirements, you must show possession of the ability to type at least 40 words per minute based on a 5-minute sample, with three or fewer errors. You may self-certify your proficiency in the Occupational Questionnaire.

JOB SUMMARY
The Service Aide functions under the direct supervision of the director, office manager, and staff therapists and assistants. The Service Aide is responsible for preparing treatment areas, cleaning treatment areas, procurement and inventory of supplies, transporting patients, and in general assisting patients, therapists, and assistants in the successful completion of the treatment plan. The Service Aide may also be assigned routine clerical support tasks to support the patient care process.

The Grower Assistant is held within the Grower Department. This role assists the Head Grower, Assistant Head Grower, Grower, and IPM Supervisor to maintain Family Tree Nursery's high product quality, mission, core values and expectations. This is a non-Management role, and it is expected to work shoulder to shoulder with the team to assist core processes and results. Instead of managing people, your main responsibility is to maintain the health of our crops. Although plant health is your focus, you are expected to communicate that standard of excellence to the team, even if they fall outside of your department. Required Qualifications:
1-2+ years of professional experience in: Horticulture, greenhouse production, green industry sales, garden center management, or other plant-based industry. A degree in Horticultural studies would also qualify.

Understand and direct irrigation and fertility techniques.
Operate a pallet jack, forklift, skid steer, cart tug or other equipment and vehicles with a clean driving record.
Essential Functions:
Mix, load, and handle restricted use chemicals.
Roll and unroll hoses from irrigation and application equipment.
Work in a variety of weather conditions including hot, cold, wet or dry, and direct sun exposure. Temperatures vary 10 to 20 degrees above or below ambient temperature.

Make a minimum of 3 crop checks per day.
Assist in daily record keeping, which may include- primary irrigations, ppm and fertilizer used, chemical applications, water alkalinity, soil pH and/or E.C., crop pictures.
Assist in greenhouse opening and closing procedures.
Maintain a clean greenhouse and growing space by removing trash, dust, debris and weeds.
Assist in scouting for pests and diseases.

Qualifications

One full academic year of study (30 semester hours) beyond the second year is equivalent to 6 months of specialized experience. Minimum Qualifications for GS-06

* Performing file searches and assembling documentation.

We are looking for a full-time person to be on the ground floor and help develop and run our e-commerce company.
The primary focus of the position will be as a general e-commerce assistant helping with fulfilling orders, listing new items for sale and overall keeping the company functioning properly. The tasks for this position would be extremely wide-ranging and you would have a lot of autonomy as much of your time will be spent working on your own.
The main tasks we are expecting for this position are the following:
Packing and shipping sold items
Researching values on items
Photographing and listing items for sale
Create social media content
Participate in social media content
In taking bulk inventory into the warehouse
Organizing physical inventory
Cleaning up warehouse
Online customer service
Updating website and web listings
Setting up pop-up liquidation sales
Working pop-up liquidation sales (on weekends when necessary)
