Works with the Director of High School to ensure students are prepared for college entrance exams, know how to apply for financial aid, receive help in completing college applications, etc.
Completes and implements quarterly progress reports for each student to help him/her grow in all areas of development- mind, body, soul.
Works to build positive relationships with parents/guardians to ensure the best overall care for each student.
Consistently implements new ideas and strategies to make learning fun and encourages students to do their best.
Meets with students individually each quarter to discuss academic progress (grades, credits, courses, and final exams.)
Provides students safe passage from BTH partner schools by picking up students on bus from school and dropping them off at home after programming.
Performs other duties as required and assigned.

Special expertise in social work, restorative justice, counseling, youth pastor, or related experiences is desired.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, photocopies and filing cabinets. This job is not a virtual job, but it requires in-person attendance as agreed upon by your immediate supervisor.
Physical Demands
The employee is regularly required to speak and listen. The employee must have the ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and move around the classroom and site, along with tasks like lifting, bending, and repetitive motions like keyboarding for prolonged time. This role may require you to move equipment from room to room and lift up to 50 pounds. The individual is also required to travel to other organization sites to meet with staff. Periodically has to travel to other organizational sites for meetings and training.

Role Overview As a CLTS Care Coordinator, you will serve as the primary point of contact for families, helping them access services that keep children safe and thriving in their home and community. This role involves assessment, service planning, coordination, and ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct functional assessments and reassessments using approved tools
Develop individualized service plans with families and providers
Authorize and coordinate services in alignment with the plan
Facilitate family-centered team meetings
Maintain accurate documentation and client records
Collaborate with service teams and supervisors to determine interventions
Testify at legal proceedings when required

Qualifications

Purpose: Within centers/sites and external locations, Youth Worker Associate performs functions to coordinate and implement out-of-school time youth development activities; working with the program team under the general direction of a supervisor, plans and implements daily lessons and activities for assigned after-school groups in the context of CYC's program framework.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for recruitment, enrollment, and intake of the assigned number of group members; engage in canvassing and other recruitment activities assigned; assist in developing and implementing community relations strategies.

Responsible for driving and/or transporting children and youth on agency business.
Responsible for assisting with the involvement of parents and families; ensuring consistent communication with parents of youth members regarding youths' progress; assisting in developing parent and family activities as assigned and by agency standards.

Associate degree or equivalent in Youth Development or related field, with a minimum of six semester hours in Child Development, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Recreation, Camping, or other related field.
Associate degree Equivalency: 30+ semester hours of college credit plus 2 years of experience in youth development or a related field (six hours of which must be in a field related to youth development as noted above),

6 - 30 semester hours of college credit plus 3 years of experience in youth development or a related field (six hours of which must be in a field related to youth development as noted above).
Advancing Youth Development Certificate (may acquire at the first opportunity). One-year related work experience. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children in the field of youth development. Experience working with kindergarten- 2nd-grade students.
