Role and Team
Reporting to the Lot Manager or other designated manager, assist with the outside functions to support lot movements and general operations to support auction activities before, during, and after sale day.
Responsibilities
Assist in assuring vehicle inventory is in the proper designated areas of the lot or shops. Apply appropriate numbering and tagging for lot and shop identification
Locate, number and move vehicles to designated area on the Lot
Confirm vehicle mileage, make year and VIN
Communicate with shop and operations teams to ensure an efficient flow of inventory from vehicle check in, inspections, shops and auction sale line until vehicle is checked out
Assist with physical inventory on a periodic basis
Use electronic devices to scan inventory and record movement of vehicles on property
Flag vehicles, add final stickers, mark numbers on windshield and place on spot for the sale
Take photos of vehicles as needed
Track missing units and assist with locating vehicles for customers
Use PC to look up vehicle information and update vehicle data
May ensure arbitrated units are restocked into inventory and proper announcements are made
May identify and add/verify vehicle announcements and reports are accurate for pre-sale
May make basic vehicle diagnostic determinations to determine if a vehicle needs to be moved to the Mechanic Shop
May operate gas dollies, lock out tools, or jump packs
May coordinate a sale lane on sale day
Any other duties assigned by the designated manager

About This Position
Mass Audubon's Boston Nature Center is a beautiful urban 67-acre wildlife sanctuary in the heart of Boston's Mattapan neighborhood, with a nature center, community gardens and two miles of trails. More than 15,000 adults, families, children, volunteers, and partners visit the nature center annually, walking the trails, utilizing the community event space, and taking part in educational programs such as nature preschool, camp, and public programs.
Mass Audubon is seeking a part-time Volunteer Coordinator to help grow volunteerism at the sanctuary. The Volunteer Coordinator works closely with the Operations Manager daily on developing volunteer projects that are essential to the mission of Mass Audubon and the success of this community nature center. Routine volunteer projects include trail maintenance, landscaping, gardening, invasive plant removal, and habitat restoration. This person will also help develop and lead training that welcomes and orients new volunteers and supports the professional development of existing individual volunteers. Visitors, program participants, neighbors, community partners, and volunteers utilize the site every day and throughout the year. Maintaining cooperative relationships is an essential part of this role. The Volunteer Coordinator ensures that Mass Audubon and its sanctuaries are inclusive and welcoming, providing more people with access to connect with the joys of nature.

Responsibilities
Recruit, screen, and interview interested volunteers and match them with appropriate projects determined by the management team
Collaborate with regional staff to support their volunteer needs in all departments, including the development of volunteer s and project needs for individuals and groups
Onboard new volunteers: field inquiries, onboard into the volunteer portal, disseminate training materials, provide volunteer name tags, and ensure that volunteer materials are stocked

Position Overview
The Youth Worker will have the primary responsibility of engaging 20 very high-risk young women, most of whom are mothers, through relationships and programming as well as working with community partners (DCF, Police, Probation, etc.) within the communities Roca is serving in Eastern MA with a focus on Chelsea and Lynn.
The successful Youth Worker will work closely with team members, supervisors, and others within the organization to ensure that each young person is driving to outcomes of economic independence and living out of harm's way. We strive to meet the following outcomes: No Re-Incarcerations and Retained Employment; and additionally, for young women/mothers: reduced victimization and systems involvement.
General Responsibilities
Facilitate, apply, practice, and demonstrate Cognitive Behavioral Theory (CBT) using Roca's Intervention Model.
Consistently exercise and application of Cognitive Behavioral Theory (CBT) informally, formally and virtually.
Assist and role model in the process of obtaining and sustaining employment through job search and overall workforce professionalism.
Engage with other aspects of work, such as but not limited to, family and criminal court engagement, work behind the wall/in residential programs, peacemaking circles, work with the community, productive and professional participation in meetings, etc.
Continually learn, demonstrate, practice and improve skills related to Roca's intervention model.
Ensure accurate and timely entry of case notes into ETO (Efforts to Outcome system) daily.
Act as a Crew Supervisor and manage a work crew, when needed.
Analyze and interpret ETO data as it relates to young people and understanding how data relates to a young person's progress.
Ability to adapt outreach efforts in accordance of data collected in ETO.

Maintain a caseload of young people and build transformation relationships in alignment with Roca's intervention model.
Demonstrate the ability to provide additional types of educational/vocational/life skills programming, in person and virtually, e.g. educational classes, ServSafe, upgraded workforce professional skills, parenting and child development, healthy habits, driver's education, and/or the ability to help with job placement.
Strategically plan workweek schedules- including outreach lists for contact, programming needs, identifying if YP is in need of additional assistance and CBT coaching and constructive use of Track Books.
