Responsibilities
The Leader in Indianapolis Device Assembly and Packaging (IDAP) Warehouse Operations is responsible for operational processes and business elements regarding safety, quality, and customer service for the area. The Leader is responsible for administrative leadership and developing the technical expertise of warehouse employees. The minimum length of time in this position is 3 years per current guidelines.

Responsibilities
Direct and supervise employees engaged in shipping, receiving, inspection, inventory control and storage activities and provided direct assistance to the Plant Superintendent in the daily operations at Wabash Recycling LLC.
Core Accountabilities
Assist shipping and receiving personnel regarding material shipments, monitoring load integrity, and quality control on final product.
Verifies inventory of raw materials, finished goods.
Verifies accurate weights of fractions and EOM inventory.
Lead quarterly raw materials inventory balancing to Oracle with finished report sent to plant controller.
Responsible for processes and procedures in the Shipping and Receiving Department.
Maintain housekeeping of work areas in a neat and orderly fashion.
Verifies and records all items loaded for shipments.
Perform record keeping and data collection as required.
Loads trucks and trailers using a forklift, and or loader.
Meet productivity standards by completing work in a timely manner requiring minimal supervision.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Supervises up to 5 employees in the material handling function; directly supervises the Shipping & Receiving department; is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the department and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications Required Qualifications:
Associate's degree or equivalent and five years related experience; or combination of education and directly related experience.
General knowledge and proficiency in general business and the ability to use computer applications, such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), email and database programs. Experience in Oracle, preferred.
Strong mathematical and analytical skills.

PURPOSE The Logistics Supervisor position supports the efforts of the Logistics Manager to meet SMC stated goals concerning on time delivery, quality, expenses. Ensure a management presence on the floor through hands on supervision of all activities that take place within the distribution facility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Ensure work load is evenly distributed throughout the assigned area in a manner to ensure customer delivery requirements and quality objectives are met
Assist other groups within the distribution facility by shifting resources to meet customer demand
Ensure proper execution of all transactions that affect delivery and inventory accuracy
Completion of all customer inquiries concerning open orders
Audit 10% of all transactions concerning delivery and physical inventory for accuracy and timely completion
Audit assigned area for inventory accuracy at the location level to ensure goals set by management are met or exceeded
Ensuring KPI's for area are being met and if below targets, take action to correct issues
Suggest and implement process changes based on statistics and root cause analysis with management approval
Physical maintenance of the area to 5S standards and management requirements
Keep area stocked with appropriate supplies to perform daily processes
Compliance to ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards within the area
Perform HR related duties (hire, schedule, counsel, document performance, payroll)
Inform employees of management decisions and initiatives. Provide the appropriate support tools to achieve desired results
Ongoing classroom and on the job training of all employees (product and process)
Daily, Monthly tracking and reporting of direct and indirect labor efforts of all personnel
Daily communication with all employees
All other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
Physical demands require the person to regularly stand, walk, and use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms.
The work environment will expose employee to the following elements: Noise, Heat, Cold, Dust, Oil, and Grease (70% of work hours).
The work environment is an office/professional environment (30% of work hours
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Preferred Associate or Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience
3-5 years work experience in management or warehouse environment
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and managers
Must be able to utilize the ERP, WMS, WES and other software as required to perform duties as listed above
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language
Must be able to be certified to drive equipment required inwarehouse
