Position Overview:
Reporting to the Warehouse and Distribution Manager, this position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of warehouse operations including shipping schedules, loading operations and material handling activities (processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials, and equipment). This position works at our Neenah, WI Distribution Center 5:45am to 6:00pm on a 2-2-3 schedule.
Responsibilities:
Distribution, Transportation & Warehousing:
Assisting in designing and managing optimal space and storage plan for existing and new warehouse facilities.
Maintain warehousing and distribution center contacts.
Participate in innovative warehousing and distribution programs and processes.
Inbound and outbound transportation management from/to production and distribution facilities.
Assist to develop warehouse and distribution center team.
Coordination of product deployment from internal or 3rd party manufacturing locations to distribution centers in accordance with overall planning strategies
Work cross-functionally to supply offerings such as factory direct, modular pallets, and customer pickup shipments. Using transportation expenses as a guide, recommend the process for customer returns and sample order shipments.
Assist with the activities relating to loss/damage claims in partnership with customer service. The specific activities include the investigation, timely filing, and collection of the claims.
Direct and coordinate all aspects of warehouse operations including shipping schedules, loading operations and material handling activities (processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials, and equipment.
Prepare schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and optimize warehouse space.
Develop, communicate, and monitor work schedules and policies/procedures.
Oversee the inspection of incoming goods and ensures damaged goods are returned and/or credit is received as appropriate.
Hires, develops, and reviews warehouse staff.
Seek out and implement innovative warehousing and distribution programs and processes.
Provide input and analysis as part of the annual warehouse budgeting process.
Manages inbound scheduling process with vendors / carriers to control the flow of product into the building while maintaining level-of-service goals.
Works with Inventory Planning to resolve vendor issues on delivery.
Ensures receipts are reconciled against purchase orders and proper paperwork is forwarded to Accounts Payable and the inventory planning team.
Ensures product meets standards for quality and product specifications for all inbound receipts.
Maintains receiving accuracy in item identification, quantity acknowledged, and putaway activities.
Ensures timely and accurate replenishment.
Determines proper staffing levels needed based on work volume and productivity and effectively forecasts needs.
Ensure service goals are met in all areas of responsibility.
Works with other managers to plan and allocate resources across the building.
Ensures BPMs are in place and followed.
Responsible for data integrity and accurate data management within the ERP and WMS.
Ensures housekeeping is maintained.
Pursues initiatives to improve department efficiency leading to lower operating costs, improved quality, and/or improved safety.
Inventory & Production Planning
Participate in inventory strategy development and execute inventory planning process and analysis.
Ensure inventory accuracy to include proper age rotation and date code integrity.
Ensure that systems and procedures are in place and executed to enable full trace of all production in the case of a food safety or other product recall. This includes product residing in third party warehouses, contract manufacturers or co-packers.
Review sales and finished goods inventory data in partnership with sales, operations, or customer service team members to adjust plans as needed to respond effectively to unexpected sales trends and/or inventory balances.
Facilitate production planning tools and processes and assist scheduler with execution and decision making as needed.
Participate in sales forecasting process.
Monitor product age ensuring product freshness.Communicate with Marketing, Sales, and Finance on age issues or concerns.
Ensure ERP system master data management, integrity, and maintenance for assigned area.
Qualifications:
3+ years hands-on experience in a food industry or related manufacturing facility.
Track record of successfully selecting, planning, and implementing new 3rd party vendor (warehouse, transportation, etc.) Experience starting up new internal warehousing including design, planning and execution while meeting service, quality, and cost requirements.
Knowledge of food packaging principles, food industry quality and food safety requirements, and new product scale up dynamics.
Demonstrated strength in process improvement, SOP documentation and employee training.
Experience in managing information within an ERP system. ERP implementation experience is preferred.
Understanding of the basics of change management and has effectively led large scale changes or process improvements.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and simultaneous user needs.

Hours, Location and Pay:
We offer a competitive base pay rate and comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees. This position works at our Neenah, WI Distribution Center and follows a 2-2-3 schedule 5:45am to 6:00pm.
Physical and Mental Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, hear, use hands to type data, use a personal computer and telephone. This employee may occasionally have to operate business machines and lift and/move up to 50 pounds.

Serco is supporting USACE to renovate the Power Building (J-Plant) and providing it with High Altitude Electro Magnetic Pulse (HEMP) protective measures.The Logistician's primary role is to provide on-site receiving and accountability of construction materials and equipment. Tasks included inventory control, tool management, and hazardous material control and management. Additional duties include assisting Travel personnel with housing arrangements for arriving workforce personnel, meal card management, and return flight arrangements.

**ROTATIONAL SCHEDULE:** **_This is a year-round position; current rotation is 3 months on and 1 month away from the site_**
**In this role, you will:**
+ Provide on-site shipping and receiving materials and construction equipment.
+ Provide on-site inventory control and management of all SERCO assets.
+ Provide on-site tools management.
+ Provide on-site hazardous material inventory, control and overall management.
+ Provide on-site flammable storage inventory and control of all flammable materials and liquids.
+ Assist the SERCO travel office with housing arrangements for arriving workforce personnel, to include meal card distribution, room preparation prior to arrival, and return flight coordination.
+ Maintain inventory status in Serco's warehouse management software suite.
+ Initiate purchase requests for site supplies and misc. materials.
+ Proactively resolve material and logistical problems or issues with the Serco management team and other subcontractors.
+ Work with Serco's vehicle supplier to coordinate vehicle use and transport of personnel to and from the site.
+ Coordinate shipping plans and documentation with other Serco warehouse sites as necessary.
+ Track and report large purchase order status as necessary with support from Serco's purchasing group.
+ Be present at the work site, attend and report weekly plan updates as it pertains to logistic, hazardous material or flammable container issues.
+ The logistician typically reports to the Site Superintendent or Project Manager.
**To be successful in this role, you will have:**
+ **Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance**

+ Ability to travel over 90% of the time

We are seeking a Full Time Working Dock Supervisor at our Seymour, WI terminal.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 10:00pm Start
Pay starts at $60,000/Year

POSITION SUMMARY:
To organize the dock, provide paperwork for dockworkers, and oversee the loads to ensure the trailers are being loaded correctly. Must be forklift certified and expected to work the floor.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provide supervision and feedback for Dock team members
Assist with dockworker duties when needed
Communicate efficiently with coworkers, supervisors, and other departments to ensure a successful operation
Work in a safe and professional manner so as to reduce personal risks and risk to fellow employees
Comply with federal, state, and company regulations
Process all paperwork daily associated with the execution of the job
Work in a positive, supportive, and cooperative way at all times
Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
A minimum age of 18
High School completion or equivalent
Valid Driver License
Supervisory experience required
Ability to work any shift
Must have the knowledge and ability to perform all Operations jobs in the Terminal including Dock, Dispatch, Warehouse, and Routing
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong leadership skills
Detail-oriented, organized
Must meet all physical requirements
Must have certification in forklift safety and hazardous material handling
Ability to multi-task and react to change productively
Excellent attendance
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Visual Acuity including regular use of items including a computer screen or monitor
Lifting various types of materials will be required: cartons, bags, cylinders, boxes, crates, drums, pipe, bars, rugs, etc
Common material handling tools will be used: forklifts, carts, dollies, banding machines, shrink wrap tubes, pallet jacks, and tow motors
Standing, walking, squatting, pushing, pulling, twisting, carrying, bending at the waist, reaching, and lifting both above and below waist level will be required
Must be physically capable of operating a forklift, pallet jack, load lock and two-wheel handcart
Will be required to lift up, set down, slide or move weight unassisted that could exceed 80 pounds
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a frequent basis and 100+ lbs. on an infrequent basis
Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time
Must have the ability to safely enter and exit trailers, vans, flatbeds, forklifts and tractors
Must have the ability to work around and operate motorized equipment
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job as specified in the job description
May be exposed to extreme hot or cold temperatures and dusty conditions in the dock environment; must be able to perform essential functions in these conditions

What You'll Do:
The Warehouse Lead oversees and coordinates the work of assigned associates, ensuring materials are safely received, accurately stored, and efficiently delivered to designated areas on schedule. This role may also provide backup support to other members of the warehouse leadership team as needed.

Leads a team in the Receiving department to support efficient material flow and maintain productivity

Assists other departments with the movement of incoming and outgoing materials
Fills in for fellow Warehouse Facilitators when they are on vacation or otherwise off-site
Performs inventory cycle counts throughout the year and participate in physical inventory events
Takes part in daily and weekly departmental meetings to align on goals and progress
Balances responsibilities between hands-on warehouse duties and administrative tasks, adjusting as needed based on workload and staffing
Evaluates departmental plans and goals to ensure associates are properly aligned and equipped for success
Prepares and manages work schedules, rotations, and assignments to maintain consistent productivity
Communicates effectively with other departments to ensure cross-functional objectives are met
Assists in training new associates to ensure standardized processes and operational consistency
Fosters clear and concise communication with associates to drive engagement and understanding
Identifies and addresses bottlenecks, collaborating with cross-functional teams to eliminate inefficiencies
Partners with the Supervisor to ensure a smooth, productive shift that meets departmental objectives
Uses email and other electronic communications appropriately and in line with company policy
Communicates needs and issues promptly to the appropriate parties as they arise
Obtains and maintains certification for operating all power equipment at Whisker (e.g., forklift, pallet jack, etc.)
Builds positive working relationships with coworkers to foster good morale and cooperation
Helps plan, coordinate, and delegate work responsibilities to the production team
Coordinates the flow of work within or between lines and departments to maximize production
Communicates between departments to share pertinent information and optimize plant results
Evaluates the availability and capability of workers, parts, materials, and equipment

Helps coach and mentor team members
Cross-trains within other departments to provide coverage or assistance

Requirements
